Romit Raj to be out of Adaalat… is it to enter the Bigg Boss house?

Sad news for all the fans of Romit Raj who plays Varun in Sony TV’s courtroom drama series Adaalat. The show which spins around K.D Pathak (Ronit Bose Roy) and Varun Zaveri (Romit Raj Prasher), is based on cases inspired by true incidents.

A little birdie from the production house informed us, “In tonight’s episode, you will witness high-pitched drama as the character of Varun Zaveri is going to die. Basically, while investigating a major case, Varun will be shot dead by a criminal. To his surprise, K.D (Ronit Roy) will be left stunned which will be followed by an extremely emotional sequence. K.D’s character played by Ronit will be seen shattered and weeping on Varun’s sad demise.”

Regarding the same we got in touch with Romit and he confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it’s true that my character Varun is going to be shot dead in tonight’s episode. However, it’s too early to comment on stepping out the show as I haven’t heard about any decision from the channel as yet. But, nevertheless it was a pleasure to work with Ronit Sir and the entire production house altogether.”

Well, this unexpected exit of such a pivotal character is hard to digest which makes us wonder if this is a strategy to attract the attention of the audiences and shoot up the TRP graph.

Our source also informed us that Romit has been approached for Colors popular reality show Bigg Boss Season 7, but Romit preferred not to speak about it. So, is it a final bye to Romit’s character in Adaalat, as his exit in this show might pave his entry in the Bigg Boss house?

Whatever the reason might be, the fans are surely going to miss the impeccable chemistry shared between Ronit and Romit.
