The Bhangra lover – Samay Shah ‘Gogi!’

Actor Samay Shah aka naughty little Gogi of Neela Telefilms’ Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV is a grown up boy now. The fans of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ are well versed with the naughty little things full of innocence that Gogi does but how is he is in real life? We spoke to Samay to know more on the sets of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.

The show has completed 5 glorious years and Samay is happy and enjoying being a part of the show.

Talking about his journey, Samay told us, “The journey has been amazing and fantastic. We have enjoyed a lot. I never feel bored of shooting as I have many friends here and we all enjoy together. We all bond very well with each other off-screen and now I am sharing a good bond with my new on-screen Mom Dad too.”

Talking about his school life, Samay said, “I get to face lot of questions in my school as ‘To which caste do you belong?’ ‘Are you a Jain?’ ‘Do you study?’ ‘Which class are you in?’ I manage well between my studies and shoots since my Principal Sir too co-operates whenever we want a half day or a leave. I study whenever I get breaks in between my shoots. I am cool and enjoy my life. I don’t take much tension related to my studies.”

So, in what ways is Samay similar to Gogi? Answers Samay, “I don’t know whether I am naughty like Gogi or not but I do get scolded by my parents whenever I do lot of masti. I can say that I am related to Gogi when it comes to dance. I like Bhangra very much and wherever I go, I like to do Bhangra.”

Giving a cool message to his fans, Samay concludes, “Be happy, khush raho, bhangra karo, mast raho and tension lene ka… dene ka nahi.”
