Pavitra Rishta 30th July 2013 Written Episode

Detail Update:
1st Scene: Deshmukh House, Morning

Sachin is taking blessings from everyone. Purvi brings Aarti thaali (prayers thali) and gives him prashad. He takes prashad and says that today he needs this even more as its an important day for him, he has lots of cases to handle.
She requests him to wait a little longer before leaving as Soham Dada is coming home. Sachin gets serious, an awkward moment with Savita, Manav all looking on.
Sachin tells Purvi that he understands her and family’s happiness at Soham’s return, he was also tensed when Soham was stuck in the flooded village, but now hes alright and coming home, so please dont expect him to wait at home for Soham.
Manav reprimands Sachin angrily, Sachin, whats this you are saying?
Purvi tells Sachin that shes not asking him not to go but go a little later but its okay, no problem, he has lots of cases so he should go.
Sachin thanks Purvi, says sorry to Manav, takes his blessings and leaves.
Just outside the door, he runs into Soham, who is all bandaged and limping and both look at each other seriously, Sachin with more animosity. They pass each other without any words.
Soham walks into the house, Teju who was praying to Gods, turns, says his name happily and hugs him, Purvi comes running from the kitchen and hugs him, Manav, Savita, Ajoba all gather around him happily.
Savita Aaji looks seriously at Soham and rebukes him, that she has not seen such a careless boy ever in her life! How could he leave his mobile at home? They heard his name on TV news and got scared, thats how they came to know where he was..
Teju protests,OHO Aaji! hes just come home, and ur scolding him, scold him later naa
Savita says so should I worship him? He didnt think that he should call and inform where hes gone.
Soham says he tried to phone…but..
Savita stops him, Now dont make excuses! Archana loves u so much, she went almost mad wth worry after watching ur news. But u dont care abt ur family that u shd tell them
Soham smiles, Savita gets angrier, Im scolding u and ur smiling?
Soham said, No Aaji Im not smiling I like it very much that ur scolding me so affectionately.
Savita calms down and says, Come, Im serving breakfast,
Teju also tells him to freshen up and lets all have breakfast.
Soham looks around, searching for Archana and says: Hey Teju, I dont see Aayi anywhere, didnt she return yet?
Teju says, No actually Aayi is stuck on the road because there was a landslide..
Soham gets upset, What! Shes stuck there means!
Purvi quickly : Dada, dont worry, Aayi is staying at a dharamshala, its safe, Vinod Mama is also there with her.
Soham gets ready to leave, Im going there to bring her right now.
Purvi interrupts urgently, Wait, u cant go there, Dada, all roads are blocked there, I talked to Aayi this morning and in fact she was asking if u returned home yet,
Soham agrees sullenly: Okay, I wont go but I have to talk to her right now!
Teju admits if they could talk to her then they would, but theres no network there, and Aayi also said she will call on landline in the afternoon, so lets wait and she will call on landline
Soham agrees to wait.
Purvi asks him to go and change.
Manav looks at Soham emotionally and walks up to him, Soham looks apprehensive and unsure. Manav reaches out to touch Soham’s head wound, but Soham flinches and moves away. Manav removes his hand unwillingly.
Manav tells him, you shd take care of yourself, Soham!
Soham still unsure looks at Manav and then walks away.

2nd scene: Gauri’s house
Gauri is resting, Manav calls her and thanks her for taking care of Soham and helping him return home safely.
Gauri tells him that hes embarassing her, please dont be formal.It was her duty. Soham was her patient like other patients.
Manav tells her that helping patients sincerely is a great thing and how many people nowadays realize their responsibilities?
Then he apologizes for disturbing her as she must be tired and needs rest.

3rd Scene: Deshmukh house

Varsha who had come to see Soham is leaving.
Teju asks her to stay back for the night. Varsha denies not today but surely next time, Sulochana is waiting at home
.Teju tells her if Aayi was home she wouldnt let her leave..
Then Teju sees Varsha looking at Soham and says mother and son want to talk to each other naa, so shes leaving without wasting any time and bids them Goodnight!
After Teju goes in, Soham says he will take Mayi home, but Varsha says its okay, she will go herself,
Varsha gets serious, and tells Soham that by Bappa’s blessings, he returned safely from that village but he doesnt know how scared she was and she even felt for a moment that he wont return at all..
Soham says that she always says that shes so brave, then how come she gave up hope of his return?
Varsha says he wont understand a mother’s heart, when her son is not in front of her, then shes very worried.
Soham said, Yes, he had seen that worry many times in her eyes. When he returned home that day, Aayi wasnt home but entire family was there to greet him they were all so worried and so happy to see him home. The love, the feelings…all this time he has been longing for years, that happiness he saw in their eyes he cant forget. But now he feels hes got acceptance his family. Of course they will deny that but faces and eyes dont lie…he knew one day his family will accept him!
Varsha agrees that she always believed he will get acceptance, and hes so lovable…just wait and see, one day Manav Jeeju will also accept him and proudly say in front of everyone, Soham is MY SON!
Soham doubts if such a day will come or that such a day will come at all..
Varsha says, Why not? Definitely that day will come and soon, just let him see your goodness and he will treasure you as his son!
Soahm says if you have so much faith in me, then I have faith in your beliefs. Mayi, whenever my family needs me, I will be there!

Deshmukh House: Next morning
Arjun, on the way to office in his car, calls Purvi who is cooking while Sundari checks out her own reflection on a thaali.
Arjun asks her where is the file for Jaisingh Project as hes going to office.
Purvi tells him he wont find it as its in her cabin, on her shelf.
Arjun says Ok, when u come to work, bring that file to my cabin as I have to make some changes
Purvi hesitates, I forgot to tell u, I wont be able to come to work, Aayi is not at home so I have to look after Pari
Arjun says of course, of course, I completely forgot, its a good thing, you stay home, you have been working for some time now, and not spending time with Pari..its good, stay home with Pari! And whats the latest news of Aayi?
Purvi replies that they got phone call that morning, everything is okay, but roads are badly damaged … work has begun but it will take time, because conditions are really bad there!
Arjun says Okay, if you get any further other news abt Aayi or if u need me for something then please call me…
Purvi agrees while pouring milk for Pari in a feeding bottle.

Teju is watching TV and a song is playing : Mera yaar yaar mujhmein, mera pyar pyar tujhmein. Soham joins her telling her to turn up the volume he really loves that song. Both are enjoying the song, Soham says What a song, bahut Badhiya…
Suddenly he remembers he has to go to work and he scolds Teju, Why are you making me watch TV? Im getting late for work!
He hits her playfully on the head and leaves and Teju is like What The..?

At the Market:
Store keeper yells at Soham: Now you are here? Where were u all this time? Do u remember 4 days ago, you told me u were taking an urgent truck somewhere? And today u turned up, no news, no phone calls, so much carelessness, if u didnt come today I would have replaced you with a new guy!
Soham explains meekly: Maalik (Boss) please listen to me, the place where I was stuck, there was no communication.
He tells his boss all about the flood hit village, the death and destruction.
But by God’s grace, now all injured people are getting treated at the hospital.
Boss looks at his wounds and says he had heard of the disaster but he didnt know Soham was also there.
Boss apologizes and says he shd not have yelled without reason.
Soham says why are u saying sorry, anyone in ur place would have made the same assumption.
Actually he shd say sorry and all work must have been pending in his absence, so tell me what to do and I will do everything in a jiffy!
Boss says he wants to go to the hospital to see the injured villagers there. He wants to donate some stuff to the village people. God has given so much to him, he wants to share his good fortune with God’s children. He wants to help those people.
He tells Soham to gather whatever things the villagers need from the store as he knows what they need and take them to the people at the hospital.
Soham thanks his boss happily and leaves.

Deshmukh House:

Savita Aaji is yelling at Sundari: Why do I have to tell u everything, cant u think of anything urself? Did u warm the milk for Pari?
Sundari is apologetic: Purvi Tayi was warming the milk so I thought…
Savita mocks her: Yes, Purvi Tai was warming the milk so u thought u will sit in front of the TV for half an hour, stretching out arms and legs …Maharani? Dont u understand anything? Did u take out the special oil for Pari’s massage?
Sundari protests but u told me not to do any of Pari’s work..
Pari is lying on the bed, wiggling slightly and looking at Savita yelling..
Savita says u didnt do it, everything I have to tell u, its time for Pari’s bath, you dont know that? What have u been observing all these days? Did u warm water for Pari’s bath?
Purvi intervenes: Aaji, I will do it a little later, anyways its time for Pari’s bottle, after shes fed, I will warm her water.
Savita asks her why shes not ready for office? Purvi is silent. Savita demands to know..
Then she says so ur bunking office today because of Pari…no need for that, u go to work! Dont worry abt Pari there are so many people at home. Aayi is not at home so what, but Aaji is here naa…Aaji has brought up so many kids! Manav, Sachin, Vandu, Teju, Ovi…and Pari is just a little thing! Dont worry abt Pari, abt Shonu (she cuddles Pari) …I will look after her! Now get ready, take ur dabba and go to work.
Purvi says But she has already informed office that shes not going…
Savita firmly says she wont listen to anything, whether Purvi told them or wrote to them, she has to get ready and go to work!
Sundari says she will warm Pari’s water and escapes.
Savita mutters that someone shd break her head, makes her so mad!
Then she takes the bottle and baby talks with Pari…shona etc.

Mumbai Hospital:
A senior doctor praises Gauri and the staff for treating the villagers. Keep it up!
Gauri takes care of the patients and they thank her.
Soham comes with supplies from the store and keeps them in a corner.
Gauri asks him whats all this?
Soham tells her his Boss has sent all that from his store, he wants to help the patients
Gauri is pleased and tells him, his Seth is very generous and kind hearted. Please thank him on behalf of all of them and the hospital!
A child enters on a wheelchair, crying helplessly. Gauri asks the boy why hes crying?
The nurse tells her that ever since the boy heard he wont be able to walk again, hes been crying nonstop!
Gauri asks the nurse to talk to the Head of Dept of Child Psychology, because the boy needs mental treatment alongwith physical treatment. Nurse agrees to do follow-up for the boy.
Soham asks Gauri what did she say just now.
Gauri replies she was just saying that the child needs mental treatment alongwith physical one. Psychiatrists are those who believe in treating with love, not just medicines… they have their own methods called theories!
Soham says but they are still doctors naa…they will only treat him, but at this moment this boy needs encouragement and courage. That we can give him
Gauri says she understands his emotions but they shd leave this to the experts whose job this is..
Boy is crying copiously, Gauri tries to shush him.
Soham kneels down by the boy and tells him that those kids who are really brave, make their weaknesses into their strength!
Soham tells the boy a story, that there was a boy in his village who wanted to learn wrestling from the ustaad. He was going to learn wresting very happily one day when he met with an accident and he lost one arm! but do u know the ustaad taught him not to lose hope but taught him special moves and advised him to practice those moves again and again! That he has to make his weakness into his strength. The boy kept on practicing for weeks and months! He practiced those moves tirelessly. Then one day the ustaad put him up in the ring. The boy was scared, he didnt have one arm and opposite him was a big pehelwaan! Ustaad told him to use his weakness as his strength. The boy nervously went up to the ring! And then a miracle happened! He defeated his opponent with just one move! He didnt know how the miracle happened, Ustaad told him it was he who made the miracle happen! Because he used his weakness as his strength!
Soham tells the boy u also have to use ur weakness as ur strength. The boy has stopped crying and the onlookers, nurses, wardboys, patients all applaud at Soham’s encouraging story.
Gauri looks at Soham with pleased admiration!

Arjun’s Office:

Arjun is looking through some files with a sullen face. He picks up Pari’s photo and looks at it affectionately. Purvi enters…
Arjun is surprised to see her, Hey u said u will stay home today, how come ur here?
Puvi said yes, I had taken the day off, but Aaji said I shd come to work, she said she will take care of Pari.
Arjun is surprised, Wiat a minute! Who said?
Purvi said Aaji said…
Arjun cant believe it, Aaji said that herself, Seriously?
Purvi tells him that she was also surprised like him, but u know Arjun, the way she took care of Pari, the way she bathed and changed Pari…I loved watching that. I knew Aaji is very good at heart…but whatever happened with Ovi, she was unable to accept Pari and the circumstances! But now slowly shes accepting Pari and all these cir
Arjun smiles happily and says, This was bound to happen. Hes sure Pari will get even more love from that house!
He picks up Pari’s photo again and both of them smile at the pic lovingly!

PRECAP:
Some random guy is mad at Soham, hes a client of Sachin’s? Sachin is begging him not to leave, the guy is angrily saying this guy (Soham) is misbehaving with me, why wont I get mad?
Soham tells the guy,Oh Budbaak! Dont pretend in front of Dada! Those Lakh Rupees ur talking abt, I know its dirty money and we wont allow that kind of money to enter this house!
Sachin yells at Soham not to misbehave!
