Kumud’s in-laws to finally get their new set at Filmcity, Mumbai

The story of Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra (SLB Productions) has majorly shifted to the house of Kumud’s (Jennifer Winget) in-laws post her wedding with Pramad (Anshul Trivedi). However, the house, that the audiences have been watching Kumud in, is about to see a change.

Well, the “change” that we are talking about is happening in real life, not reel!!!

Saraswatichandra has its original set in Filmcity, Goregoan (Mumbai) and the house (read: set) of the new family was supposed to be in the same area.

However, the artists took a little too long to finish the construction of the new site, thus leaving with no choice for the maker but to shoot the episodes in a make-shift arrangement in a temporary set in Malvani, Malad.

Gladly, the new set is now ready and Kumud’s in-laws’ family will start shooting in Flimcity from tomorrow (27 July 2012), as per our sources.

The source added: “This new set is built above the old set. Therefore, Kumud’s in-laws rooms will be on the first floor.”

We tried contacting Anshul and Vahbbiz Dorabjee (Alak) but they remained unavailable for comment.

    Hmmm Why couldn’t Sanaya Irani be Kumud? Not that she’s better than Jennifer Winget.

      No way Kumud is so elegant and does her role perfectly. Don’t get me wrong alright, Sanaya is an amazing actor but playing Kumud’s character won’t fit her

      No, Sayana Irani wouldn’t be able to act as efficiently Jennifer does in some scenes and her personality would not have matched to the family-proud person at all. Thus, showing that Jennifer was the best choice for playing the epic role of Kumud.

      sorry arshi lover no offense but jennifer is a lagendary actress and has better experience as well as skills than sanaya and the most important kumud had to be beautiful and jennifer is better than sanaya in looks and acting. No offense.
