Arjun 14th July 2013 Written Episode

At the railway station
Two boys are sitting on a bench. One, Harshal, seem to be very disturbed and complaining to his friend, Deepak, about the exams results which are going to be out on that day. Harshal says he wished the results never came out, since the results means a lot to his father. His father wants him to become an Electronic Engineer and to achieve this he needs to get above 95% pass mark. However Harshal stresses on the fact that he isn’t sure of himself for his chemistry paper. Harshal says that his father will be very angry at him, but though his mother understands him, she never dares stand against her husband. Harshal says he wished that he didnt have any father, and when Deepak asks him never to say such a thing, Harshal says Deepak’s father is willing to support him in his dreams unlike his father. Harshal asks Deepak to accompany him for support at his place.

At Harshal’s place
Both friends are climbing the stairs when suddenly a man rushes by. They dont understand what’s happening and continue to climb till Harshal’s door, when suddenly another man rushes out. Both gets scared and rushes in the house. That’s where they see Harshal’s father hanging on the ceiling fan and her mother crying on the floor. Harshal rushes to his father, and cries thinking he wishes his father wasn’t here. He picks up a letter, in which Harshal’s father claims that he was very disturbed and ashamed to have forced his dreams on his son, thus he was ending his life.

In ETF SUV
Rathore says the case about Harshal’s father is very strange cause it’s the 5th murder since the last three weeks where parents have committed suicide the same way by leaving the same note.
At Harshal’s place

The crime scene is being inspected and clues taken. Liza shows Arjun the suicide note which was found near the corpse. Sakshi tries to comfort Harshal’s mother, and she tells Sakshi that Nitin would never committed suicide because her husband wasn’t a weak person, and on top Harshal got 96% marks, so he should have been happy cause his son fulfilled his dream.
Arjun asks Shree about the exams marks of Harshal, and founds it strange that Nitin committed suicide despite such good marks.
Rathore goes to Harshal, and tries to comfort Harshal, saying his father must be really proud of him for having brought such good marks. Rathore then questions Deepak about Harshal’s father. Deepak says that Mr Nitin didnt like him at all, because he was more of a sportsman than into education, and that Mr Nitin feared that Deepak would influence Harshal the wrong way. He also adds that Harsh was damn scared of his own father.
Arjun is examining the rope which Nitin used for suicide, when he goes down memory lane.
A man snatches a gun from a kid’s hand and throws it on the floor. The man is reprimanding the kid for wanting to become a police man. The man wants the son to become highly educated and become a businessman and fulfil all the dreams of his parents.

Sakshi breaks Arjun’s thought and tells him that the wife doesn’t think that Nitin would ever commit suicide because he was a strong willed man. Arjun says that it might be murder, when Liza interrupts him saying that though the handwriting is the same, it seemed that Nitin was scared when writing this letter cause his handwriting is very shaky.

In another house
Another lady is crying and writing a suicide note and again apologising for putting so much pressure on her son. A boy is seen knocking and knocking on the door, while we see the hanging feet of the lady.

In the parking
Rathore says that Harshal was very scared of his father. Shree says it’s all so strange because this is the fifth suicide case in this area and all have stated the same reason. Chotu then comes to inform them that they have another suicide case of a lady this time, and a young man was found dead merely 5 minutes away from here. Rathore and Shree goes to check the suicide scene, while Arjun, Sakshi and Chotu go to the parking where the young man was found dead.

In the park
Liza is checking the body, while Chotu briefs Arjun about the corpse, named Jitender. Jitender used to work as a local cable operator. Arjun asks Chotu to call for Jitender’s partner. Liza tells Arjun about her findings, that apart soil and plastic nothing was found in his nails, and no blood and skin either. He has whitish marks on his fingers, and that there are two footprints, one thatof a chapel, near the body. The rest must be sent to the lab for more tests. Just then an old man, Yash Dixit, Jitender’s father, comes crying near the body. He laments that his son should have listened to him and studied, at least then he wouldn’t be dead now.
Arjun goes back to old times, where his father is scolding him for having brought low marks and spoiling all his father’s dreams. His father says that Arjun has greatly insulted him and he wont ever forgive him for that.
Arjun bents down near Mr Yash, and asks him if he wanted his son to become a doctor, engineer or laywer. Arjun gets up and says that either someone has brought all these people to such a situation that they had to commit suicide, or they were all killed. Arjun asks Chotu to tell Shree to investigate about all the people who visited all the places where the suicides occurred and to check Jitender’s phone calls.
Sakshi says that she doesn’t agree to Arjun’s theory, because they dont belong to the same age group. Arjun says the biggest link is the same dreams on the parents.
Shree and Rathore are checking the visitors list, and Shree complains saying that no names match at all. Rathore queries whether all people sign the register. And the watchman says that only those people who comes to work do not sign, the rest everyone has to sign. Rathore says they wont get anything here and says that they must check every apartment for clues.

In the SUV
Sakshi asks if Arjun is angry with her because she doubted his theory and asks forgiveness if Arjun took it badly. Arjun says that he understands such parents better than anyone,but he wont tell Sakshi his reasons.

At Harshal’s place
Arjun interrogates the wife again for any clues, when Sakshi sees the disconnected cable connection. Mrs Uspna says that her husband removed the tv cable connection so that Harshal could concentrate on his studies instead of watching TV. She says that her husband would scold and insult his son infront of everyone, and mentioned about the cable operator also. Arjun verifies the cable and finds a LC mark on it, and Mrs Uspna says that LC stands for Laxmi Cable, and Arjun remembers this is the company of Jitender. Arjun asks Shree to check if in all the houses where they had suicide cases they all had the LC connections.

Back at the ETF
They are interrogating Jitender’s partner, Babloo. He says Jitender didnt have any enemies. Arjun points out that all those houses which had suicide cases, they had LC connections, and all were cut also. Babloo says that they only cut the connections on the request of the parents before the examinations. Rathore asks why they dont sign any register. Babloo replies that this is commonly because they go there frequently. Arjun asks if they were at the suicide places on each respective date, to which Babloo replies yes.
Liza comes saying that on the knife which Jitender was killed, there had two fingerprints that of Jitender and Yash.

At Yash’s place
Arjun queries about the fingerprints, and Mr Yash says that since there is no woman in the house, it’s normal that all their knives have his fingerprints. Liza then comes with the chapals of Mr Yash which matched that on the crime scene.
Arjun asks Yash about the chapals, and Yash becomes very angry and emotional saying he never killed his son, and that on the contrary it was his son who killed him every minute and every moment. He tells them how he came to be there with Jitender.
Jitender takes his father to an isolated place. Jitender says he’s finally very happy, since today he has finally passed and also all those kids are finally happy. Yash insults Jitender a lot and then leave him alone there.

Yash again repeats that his son has defeated him finally again and again since 8 years, and how he never brought any good marks. He wanted his son to be an engineer, but he wanted to become a bodybuilder, and thus to insult his father, he broke all his father’s dreams, and finally Jitender became a common cable operator
Arjun again remembers his past…
Arjun is bending down to touch his father’s feet, but his father grabs his hands and insults him. He says that Arjun has broken all his dreams, and that he has defeated him and insulted him a lot, and that he never wants to see Arjun ever again.

In Arjun’s office
Arjun is thinking again about his father and his words, when suddenly his attention is caught by the knots of the cables and the rope which was used as suicide method.

Interrogation room
Babloo is again interrogated, and Babloo says he was only used to tackle the monetary things, while it was Jitender who was the one good at the technical things. Arjun queries if Jitender knew the dead persons, and Babloo says that Jitender knew everything about every family. He even says that sometimes Jitender would return very emotionally tensed about the way parents were pressurising the kids by forcing them to study and beat the kids. Jitender didnt seem to like this at all. Babloo says that yesterday was the first time Jitender mentioned about his father. Jitender was sad that his father did so much for him, yet he couldn’t do anything for his father at all. Arjun tells Babloo to go, and Rathore asks Arjun about it. Arjun says that he has helped in solving the last part of the case.

Back at Yash’s House
Arjun says that Yash wanted his son to be something and fulfil all those dreams which he never had been able to achieve. Yash was the same as all those parents who were pushing their dreams on their kids. He says that Jitender was too stressed and fed up of this, and how his father always insulted him at each point in life, which gradually destroyed his son completely. And then Arjun explains how and why Jitender murdered them, especially when Jitender found himself in those kids’ places and his father as their parents, when he assisted to those parents scoldings while his work.
Arjun says that Yash, though not having killed Jitender directly, he led to the death to all those parents, and later Jitender killed himself in the end.
Yash is completely shattered and all ETF seem sad. Arjun bends to Yash and says that kash he could have helped and understood his son’s dreams instead of always pushing his son to be an engineer.
Sakshi asks Arjun if he already knew about Yash since the start, to which Arjun tells Sakshi about his childhood and his father, how his father wanted Arjun to become an industrialist and continue their family business.
