Hiten Tejwani needs no introduction. This veteran actor has been part of the television industry from quite some time now. Seen as Manav in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, the actor is currently hosting Life OK’s Savdhan India.

On the sets of Savdhan India, we in a quick fire interview with the actor.

Excerpts:

A lot has been written about the leap and the actors quitting the show. But is Hiten going to be part of the show post leap? “Yes, definitely; my character, as Manav, has developed in the show. I know that as an actor I should not say no to any kind of roles. Hence, I am very much in the show,” Hiten quips.
But do you believe in the concept of a leap? “Well, it’s been five years now that Pavitra Rishta is on air and in this period it has sustained itself. And looking at the current scenario, when shows are going off air in a jiffy, going in for a leap is not a bad idea. And I guess for audiences also, they will have a different look to watch in the same show,” he adds.

We broke the news that Ankita Lokhande is going to don a double role in the show. “Yes, even I have heard the same, but don’t know much about this,” he answers.

Ankita has re-entered the show having left the show earlier, does this, in any way, affect the chemistry between him and the lady? “Yes, definitely it does; but with her being in the show, makers can revolve around the story, they can show Manav and Archana’s plot and also pay on the mother daughter relationship,”

How good of you Hiten. Keep going!!!
