Utkarsha Naik and Kamalika Guha Thakurta to feature in Fear Files

The upcoming episodic story of Zee TV’s Fear Files (Esselvision) will bring together two wonderfully talented actresses Utkarsha Naik and Kamalika Guha Thakurta in challenging roles..

The story will begin with the mother Sharda, essayed by Utkarsha being devastated with the sudden death of her daughter. The element of thrill and horror will be added when she traces the real reason for her daughter’s death to be a book taken from a library, which is actually a ‘Killer Book’. The story will then trace the journey of this saddened mother who is determined to find the whereabouts of the book and destroy it so that no other deaths happen. However, she is shocked to know that the book has already been taken from the library by another young girl.

Sharda then lands up at the doorsteps of the other mother, essayed by Kamalika whose daughter has got the book. Sharda tries her level best to explain to the other mother about her daughter being possessed by the ghost in the book, but to no avail till the mother realizes the sudden changes in her daughter.

Will the two mothers try and stop the ghost in the book from creating more damage?

When contacted, Utkarsha Naik told us, “Yes, I have begun shooting for the episodic from today (2 July 2013). It is a very interesting role, that of a mother who has lost her daughter.”

Kamalika Guha Thakurta who is presently seen in Sahara One’s Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, also narrated, “I took up this episodic as the role of the mother was very meaty. It is fun to shoot for such episodics, even though the content of it spooks me (smiles).”

This particular story will be aired over the weekend.
