Rest is for humans. Be an animal and work – Siddharth Arora
Siddharth Arora who is currently playing the rugged Beera in Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 (Sunshine Productions), recently updated his status on WhatsApp Messenger, as, “Rest is for humans. Be an animal and work.”
We discovered that the actor is sincere and hard worker. He explained, “Actors get a new show after a break. My motto in life is to work very hard when my show is on and relax during the transitory phase. When I got the role of Beera in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, I was determined to put in my best effort.”
He added he put up that status update as animals inspire him to work laboriously. He laughed, “During a break between two shows, one may rest like humans do. When a show is on they should work like an animal.”
Ideally Siddharth would like to work for five to six days at a stretch and then rest for a day. He reasons, “You simply cannot do without rest too as you can’t concentrate if you are not feeling fresh and revitalised.”
He informed us that in his current show he generally gets an off once a week or once in two weeks. It goes without saying, that he had to put in extra hard work for the wedding sequence which is currently being beamed on his serial.
Would Beera have put up that status update? After all it seems that he lazes a lot. He replied, “Though he is working with Awaaz India, he feels that he should enjoy life and take life as it comes. His ideology is in fact absolutely different from that status update.”
Does he like the fact that Beera is turning into a grey character? “I am loving the change as it gives the character a different flavour. That makes the role all the more challenging.”
