Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev 13th June 2013 Written Episode

The episode begins with Mahadev and Raavans (rock) concert,as Mahadev begins to sing verses from the Vedas and Raavan follows.Everybody looks at them with admiration.Mahadev compliments Raavan on his skills in singing and asks him what he wants in return for binding the Vedas through Music.

Raavan says the fact that he is close to him,is enough for him-BUT says he will ask for his reward only once he finishes the work assigned to him.Mahadev agrees.

Then Mahadev gives Raavan his veena and leaves with Parvati.Raavan begins to sing again.

Meanwhile back at the Shivalaya in Kaashi,the Pandits ask Mahadev and Parvati to stay back with them here in Kaashi,in this Shivalaya.Mahadev says that he resides in Kashi and blesses the Shivalay that hence forward this place and the shivling to be known as “Shaileshwar” Ling,and Parvati blesses the place saying that whoever worships this ling regularly will be blessed.

The Pandits request Mahadev and Parvati to stay with them for a while and let them,offer them food.The Pandits have tears in thier eyes.Mahadev meanwhiles listens to Raavan in the distance.

On the other hand Durgasur is doing penance to please Bramha.Bramha appears and asks him for what he wishes.Durgasur says he wishes that he shouldnt be killed by any man,God or Asur,Bramha smiles and grants his wish,while Durgasur is pleased that now he will be immortal.

Meanwhile Raavan completes his composition and the Rishis bless him that wealth and prosperity will always be with him,as long as he is on the path of Dharma.Raavan thanks them,and then smiles having a glint in his eyes.

Back at Kailash much to the amusement of Kartikeya,Nandi etc Ganesha is ordering them to do work sitting on Mahadevs aasan.As all of them leave Ganesha starts doing Dhyaan.

Mahadev Parvati return back and are amused to see Ganesha sitting on thier aasan.Mahadev,Parvati and Ganesha share a cute family moment,till suddenly Raavan arrives.

Raavan tells Mahadev he has completed the work assigned to him.Mahadev tells him he will always be remembered for his contributions to the Vedas.

Raavan reminds Mahadev of his wish,as everybody else-Parvati,Ganesha,Kartikeya and Nandi look worried.

Raavan asks Mahadev to come and stay with him in Lanka for good.

Everybody else is stunned with Raavans request,as Mahadev smiles.

Parvati is angry with Mahadev and tells him it isnt Raavans Bhakti but his selfish intentions which are making him do all this.And tells him at this rate one day he will take Mahadev away from them and Kailash.
Mahadev agrees to go with Raavan,and becomes a Shivling.
Narayan says that Raavan hasnt taken just Mahadev,but also Mahakaal with him.
