“I want my man to have dreamy eyes” – Avika Gor

Avika Gor shares her teenage crushes,talks about good looking men and also quips about studies and more..

Avika Gor who is seen as Roli in Sasuaral Simar Ka on Colors is enjoying every bit of her show. She is not complaining about the long working hours and hectic schedule. She has given her 10th board exams this year and even as she waits for her results is busy shooting during her vacations.

Avika has already made her plans of what to do next after her results and in conversation with us she says, “I just gave my 10th board exams and after results it will be time for me to go to college. I am planning to take up Arts and specialise in English Literature.”

However, acting is something that she will continue forever, she says, “Its not only acting in television I am talking about but also modelling and movies.”

She is young but is mature enough to act the part that she is playing in Sasural Simar Kar, “To be very honest I am loving palying the character of Roli who is elder to my real age. Understanding the character and emoting it is a little complex for me but I am thankful to the senior actors on the sets like Dipika Samson, Jayati Bhatia who guide me through the scenes.”

Avika who started off as the innocent child who is married off at a small age in Balika Vadhu is happy that she has managed to shed away the Anandi image, “Today people recognize me as Roli while earlier it was Anandi. It feels nice when my fans call me Roli… I feel that with my acting at least I have shed away Anandi tag and they have come to accept me as Roli.”

She is still in her teens and just like any other teenager even Avika has her share of favourite actors. Talking about the same she says, “If you ask me whom do I like, than I would say I like all the actors, since they are all so handsome! I love Ronit Bose Roy Uncle as he acts well and is handsome too, while my co-star Manish Raisinghani is so sweet… he even helps me in my studies.

Any crushes? “I don’t have crushes but yes I like every good looking guy. If you ask me what is my dream man like I would say he should look like Shahrukh Khan, dance like Hrithik Roshan… he should have dreamy eyes, should be innocent and loveable too…”

Well Avika, you are young now but we hope you meet your dream man at the right age.
