Arjun 26th May 2013 Written Episode

A man & woman Niranjan & Ruchika are celebrating her birthday at a hotel.A man is clicking Ruchika’s picture which angers her.She complains to her husband that the man is Pankaj & has been harrasing her for the past few days by clicking her pictures.
Niranjan beats him up has him thrown out of the hotel.

Niranjan brings a very drunk Ruchika home & lays her on the bed.He opens the windows finds Pankaj on the opposite flat window filming his wife again.Enraged he rushes out to his flat & begins to beat him up.Just then Ruchika comes out on the balcony & tumbles down.She dies as she hits the ground.
This is witnessed by Niranjan & Pankaj who have been fighting on the opposite flat.Niranjan screams.

ETF arrives.Niranjan telss them all that has happened.He tells them Pankaj is responsible for this & leads them to his flat.But the flat is completely empty.
Niranjan is shocked.ETF processes the room & find a recharge voucher stub & a few burnts photos of several women.

ETF then goes to Niranjan’s flat.He shows them the room from where Ruchika had fallen from.There are a lot of soft toys & baby pictures around.Saks asks if they have children.Niranjan says they dont have kids but were trying.Arjun then notices bed frame marks on the wall opposite the bed.A maid walks into the room & hands Niranjan a glass of water.
She looks around the room in a surprised way.Arjun notices that too.There is a picture on the wall of Niru, his wife another woman.Arjun asks Niru about her he says its Shruti or some such name.She was his colleague & also his college mate.But now she was more friends with Ruchika than Niru.

Arjun is informed that the recharge stub found in Pankaj’s house was for Shruti’s mobile phone.More shocking is that she lives in the same building as Niru & Pankaj.

ETF lands at her house.She is talking to someone on the phone about some plan.Arjun interrogates her about her relationship with Niru
recharge stub being found at Pankaj’s home.She denies knowing Pankaj.Sakshi asks her how come being close friends with Ruchika she didnt go to meet her husband after her death.Arjun snatches her phone & checks the last call.Its Pankaj’s number.

Rathore orders Arjun to take the girl to ETF office for interrogation & himself along with Ayesha & Shree decides to follow the mobile phone GPS of Pankaj.

Rathore team follow Pankaj who is in a taxi but he has escaped.He leaves his mobile behind in the taxi.The driver informs them that Pankaj had stopped at a pharmacy to buy medicines.At the pharmacy they locate the doctor who prescribed the meds to Pankaj & go to see her.
She informs them that she was treating Pankaj for depression.Rathore gives her his card & asks her to call him if Pankaj contacts her.They leave.

Arjun interrogates Shruti at length from everything about her relationship with Niru, to her contacts with Pankaj.Pankaj has been calling her regulary talking.She too has made call backs to him.She says PAnkaj was a mobile sales man & was explaining her about different plans.She really didnt know him.Arjun says he will find out.

Arjun goes back to Niru house & once again scans the room.He again emphasizes what exactly was his relationship with Shruti.Niru is shocked & denies having any wrong relations with her.

Pankaj’s doctor calls saying she heard from Pankaj.They locate his address through the public phone he used to call the doctor.Arjun & Rathore storm into the house to find Pankaj hanging from the fan.
Rathore thinks its suicide but Arjun sees the stool he might have used to climb on.The height of the stool is way shorter for him to hang & kick away the stool.Its a cold blooded murder.

Aisha locates the camera used to film Ruchika’s fall.At the ETF office everybody views the footage.Its clear that Pankaj & Niranjan were fighting when Ruchika fell off the balcony.Rathore says its an open & shut case of accident.But Arjun has noticed something in the footage.He asks for it to run again.
A spider has been spinning a web in Pankaj’s window through which he was filming Ruchika in her house.When Niranjan first spots Pankaj it was a small web.But when they are fighting the web is a foot long.It should have taken not more than 10 mins for Niru to land at PAnkaj’s house.Arjun is piqued as to how could such a alrge web be spun in so short a time.
He declares the spider is their star witness in this murder case orders Shree to locate it & find out more.Shree stares at Arjun as if he has lost his head.Everybody watches Arjun with their mouth hanging open.Arjun turns around to find Shree gaping at him.He yells that he wont find the spider on his face.Shree hurries out to do his bidding.

Shree & Chotu have a lovely bromance moment while finding out about the spider.There is small lesson on Arachnids.

Sakshi in Arjun’s room looking for a spider.Arjun gruffly asks her what she wants.She answers she wants to interview the spider if he might have seen Arjun smile.Arjun looks at her annoyed.

Shree walks in & informs Arjun that the spider would have taken atleast 40-45 mins to spin the web.So taking away the 10 min walking time Aarjun wonders what Niru was doing for the remaining 35 minutes. He then remembers his housemaid she is called in for interrogation.

Arjun skilfully interrogates the maid.She informs that Niru Ruchika had a very loving relationship.Ruchika used to sleepwalk.She had the habit of using the toilet in her sleep at a particular hour in the night.She also mentions that the bed was arranged wrongly the night she dies.
Everything falls into place.Niru is hauled into ETF office.The footage is played, the web shown & he breaks down.

He badly wanted children but Ruchika didnt.She loved her carefree & hip lifestyle.So she went behind his back had abortions twice to escape motherhood.Shruti had advised her to do so.This had angered Niru.He had met Pankaj at a clinic & had seen that he was in need of money.He killed Ruchika with his help & tried to set up Shruti.But Pankaj began blackmailing him so he killed him too.

Ash asks why didnt he simply divorce her?Why kill? Niru says he wanted to punish her for killing his babies.Rathore says only the court of law has the right to punish.He orders him to be taken away.

Arjun is very silent pensive.Episode ends.
