Parvarrish is all about the things your parents do for your wellbeing
Says Aashika Bhatia who is currently seen as Ginni in Sony TV’s popular show Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi…
Tell us some thing about yourself?
I am very naughty and like to do lots of masti but sometimes I am very simple too. I love acting and dancing.
How did acting happen to you?
When I was 9 years old, my Mom took me for an audition which was happening for NDTV Imagine’s Meera. I got selected and this is how I got my first show.
How do you manage between your studies and professional life?
I try and manage between both of them. I have spoken to my principal about this and I manage to strike a balance between my acting life and student life perfectly. I study in between my shots on the sets during my exams.
Can you relate yourself to Ginni?
Yes, I can relate myself to Ginni a little bit. Ginni is very sweet in front of her Mom, Dad and family but she is a strong and Rockstar kind of a girl in school. She is polite but in real I am not so polite and sweet but sometimes I am very naughty and bubbly.
With whom do you bond the best on the sets?
We are 5 kids. We all do lots of masti on sets. I share a very good bonding with my on-screen brother Rocky (Tapasvi Mehta). He is older than me so we don’t have fights with each other. He is a very sweet kind of a person. The rest four of us fight a lot and at the same time we do lots of masti too.
What interests you other than acting?
I love dancing and I have been dancing since I was 3 years old.
Do your friends follow your show and give you feedback?
Yes, my friends do follow my show, and give their feedback according to the changes coming in the tracks.
Tell us the funniest prank ever played on someone on the sets of Parvarrish?
We keep on playing pranks on each other. The one which I can recall now is there was a sequence in which Ravi (Aanchal Munjal) goes into flashback and imagines Sunny (Rakshit Wahi) as a beggar. So, Sunny has to play a beggar for that sequence. He didn’t expect that someone will come give some money to him. Ravi and I went to him during the takes and gave some money to him and the whole set cracked into laughter seeing Sunny.
Message to your fans?
I would like to say to my fans that even if you find the show boring please keep watching the show because there are lots of interesting tracks going to come up in the show which will entertain you all. Parvarrish is all about the sacrifices and other things your parents do for your well being. You should learn from this show so don’t stop watching Parrvarish. Keep watching.
