Pankhudi , not caring for the conventions of Serialdom, not bothering about being DRAMATIC squeaks errmm.. cries out that she is working in Dewan’s Mansion as a CARETAKER .. A thoroughly incensed Avantika wrathfully showers her love on Pankhudi, Pankhudi again squeaks errr softly replies that she did all this to save the family, Naanu and to erase the stigma attached to Adi ..Avantika demands to know from when did she start her job and is told from Day 1 when she said she had a job.. Here Harish and Adi are getting bored of standing alone , Harish tells Adi to get the womenfolk *First man who voluntarily seeks out his wife instead of enjoying the blessed liberty*..Adi goes in search of their respective princess..Avantika and Pankhudi are having it out or rather Avantika is dishing out spicy pulao and Pankhudi has no other recourse other than to swallow that meekly, So hot is the spice , that tears roll out of her eyes..It is into this interesting situation Adi intrudes and like a well bred gentleman thoroughly gets alarmed and confused .. Avantika covers up for Pankhudi and The Kumar’s leave after serving us Masala fair.

DEWAN’S MANSION

Nanu and Preeti are chatting, Preeti is saying that she will be staying overnight , just then Shiela passes by, Preei pulls her legs and teases her about her craving for limelight ,,There is a good natured ribbing when comes Rubal.. who acts as the souring agent ,, Nanu alerts Anuj , to take a firm grip and rein in his wayward Son , which is all in vain.

KUMAR’s KOTTAGE

Harish is looking at the award, and is feeling inspired ..Avantika is lost in thought, Harish notices that and seeks to know the reason.Avantika speaks about rights and wrongs of an action..Harish soothes her.. but Avantika is not to calm down, She picks up the gift chosen by Adi , plonks it on Pankhudi’s arms ..gives her a withering glance and sharply tells her off and walks away leaving a downcast Pankhudi behind

DEWAN’s MANSION

Rubal is seething under the mortification he had to undergo in the award ceremony , he swears revenge .. lAtika and Shiela are both sure that this is the handiwork of Pankhudi ..and are convinced the current Pankhudi is a formidable adversary..

Shiela begins the spiel and issues carping criticism against Nanu ..Anuj who had been listening quietly to everyone as usual takes a break from tradition and tries to shush his wife .. Shiela and Anuj engage in war of words and Rubal again taunts his father , pointing out that even Kaira does not respect her own father..kaira who was passing by , enters the room and disabuses Rubal of that notion and walks away ..

Latika is unable to contain herself any longer and blurts out that Avantika is getting suspicious about Pankhudi and that there was a showdown betwen pankhudi and Avantika .. Shiela and co are happy and await the next day to get confirmation of Avantika’s reaction and Pankhudi’s dressing down.

KUMAR’s HOUSE

Pankhudi dresses up in adi’s gift, and stands before him all dolled up AND………………. That Man merely glances at her and banters and teases her and gets back to his laptop * Was there a Sunny leone pic there , where is the garam khoon?* ..Pankhudi smiles and goes away

NEXT DAY

Pankhudi is getting ready and getting nervous on how to face Avantika when Avantika herself comes and enquires as to why Pankhudi has not left for her job yet.

DEWAN MANSION’s

Shiela and company are like cat on the hot tin roof, eagerly waiting for Pankhudi .. while Shiela is jolted by Kaira receiving a phone call which is purportedly from her boy friend .. before Shiela can pursue, Latika brings her focus back to the main agenda, PANKHUDI !!! Nanu too has come out calling out to Pankhudi.. The whole house awaits quivering like a volcano ..for PANKHUDI when the thundering voice of Avantika hails them…All turn statues !!

Avantika being the ever polite one, apologizes for delaying Pankhudi’s arrival to the job..A look of pure malicious glee passes over the troika ..while Pankhudi looks on uncomfortable.. Avantika gets closer to Nanu, eyes alight in anger ..
