Varun Khandelwal, Adita Wahi and Neeta Shetty in Haunted Nights

The next story of Sahara One’s Haunted Nights (The Entertainment Hub) will depict the battle of a wife to save her husband from a spirit. The episode will be star-studded with Varun Khandelwal, Neeta Shetty, Adita Wahi, Parul Chaudhary, veteran actors Rakesh Pandey and Nayan Bhatt being a part of the episode.

The story is about a guy Ashok (Varun Khandelwal) who gets involved in a car accident in which Vikram and Kamini (Parul Chaudhary) are killed. Kamini then possesses the body of Aruna (Adita Wahi) who happens to be the house owner of Ashok. A possessed Aruna starts to seduce Ashok and ends up having an affair with him. And Ashok’s wife, Pooja (Neeta Shetty) is distraught when she knows about her husband’s affair. Her battle to win back her husband forms the crux of the story. Rakesh Pandey and Nayan Bhatt play parents to Ashok who have a great respect and love for their daughter-in-law, Pooja.

When contacted, Varun Khandelwal said, “This is my first experience working in a paranormal show. This is something different from shooting for the daily soaps. The different manner in which every scene is shot in order to provide the scary and eerie moment is indeed interesting. Today happens to be the second day of my shoot for Haunted Nights, and I am enjoying the experience.”
