Arjun 7th April 2013 Written Episode

A woman steps out of a gym talking to someone on the phone.As she tries to cross the road a speeding call taxi mows her down & flees
from the spot.The woman dies on the spot.

Local police arrives & does the initail investigation.Soon ETF too arrives on the scene.Arjun begins to scan the body & the surrounding area.He asks for the name of the deceased.The gym owner informs that her name is Anjana Malhotra & she used to visit the gym everyday with her husband.But he wasn’t there today.That pricks up Arjun’s ears.Soon the husband Ajay lands there & begins to bawl. Arjun asks him where was he today.The man says he was in his office.Arjun looks at him suspiciously.

There is information that the killer car is abandoned in a lonely street.ETF rush there & began processing the car. Rathore orders the car’s registration to be noted & the owner traced.
Arjun gets inside the car & does some investigation in there.He notices that the car seat was arranged in a way as to accomodate a smaller person.While doing this he moves his car front & back.Sakshi makes fun of Arjun saying he is reliving his childhood by swinging in the car seat.Shree warns her not to take him lightly, samjhe ya samjhaoon? Sakshi tells him this sounds better when Arjun says it & looks adoringly at him.Arjun notices Shree & Sakshi having fun but keeps silent.
He then notices two cut wires & joins them.This starts the car & Chotu who had stuck his head near the exhaust pipe gets a full blast of the hot fumes & comes up with grey ash on his face.Sakshi starts laughing wildly & all except Arjun join in.There is some more “fun” between Sakshi & Chotu.

Arjun informs Rathore that the car was stolen as it had been hotwired. He wonders if the accident happened while the culprit was making away with a stolen car? Sakshi agrees with him.

The owner of the car arrives there & tells them that his car, whom he had named RamDulaari was parked for a week nearby as he had to go out of town.It had never caused even a dent let alone cause an accident.

Arjun wonders why would anyone steal a battered taxi?

ETF goes to Ajay’s house where they notice his children being consoled by a young woman.Ajay says she was Anjana’s friend. Arjun also asks about a mother & son standing nearby.They are the wife & young son of his driver.
Just then the insurance guy walks in with papers related to a 50 lakh claim on Anjana’s life insurance.ETF’s collective eyebrows go up.The driver’s son Roshan at this time passes by Arjun & Shree & both smell pain balm on him.

Rathore hints to Ajay that Anjana was deliberately murdered & he might have something to do with it.

Arjun orders phone & bank record checking of Ajay. It is revealed that he was having an affair with his wife’s friend & was with her at her place at the time of the accident & not at the office as claimed earlier.
His business too was not doing well & he has already claimed the 50 lakh insurance money.Arjun begins to suspect Ajay & he is hauled off to the station for interrogation.Arjun lays it all out for him.Ajay is shocked at the accusation & puts the blame squarely on one Mahesh Kadam.

ETF lands in Mahesh Kadam’s garage & Arjun notices the men working on the cars & looks around suspiciously.
Rathore accuses Mahesh of murdering Anjana & this open floodgates of grief & anger in him.Together with his wife he tells them the story of how his young son was callously killed.

Two years ago their young engineering student son was returning home after watching a movie.He was mauled by Ajay’s driver in his car & left to die on the road while the driver fled the scene. Ajay appointed the best lawyer in town for his driver’s defence & even tried to buy off the parents silence.But the parents fought a long legal battle
& finally the driver was jailed.Mahesh says he got what he wanted through proper legal means so there was no reason for him to kill Anjana.
Arjun & Rathore are convinced Mahesh is innocent but correctly assume that the answer to the mystery lies in Akash’s accident two years ago.

They then order the complete file on his accident case & study it thoroughly.Ajay is once again brought in for questioning & asked to go over the accident details.With growing suspicions Arjun hears Ajay parrot the same lines written in the accident report word to word from star to finish.Arjun asks him about his scedule the previous day & the day before that,Ajay gets confused.
Arjun thunders that he can ratta maaro an accident details of two years ago but cannot recall what happened two days ago? Ajay looks scared.

Rathore with Ayesha is interviewing the driver & he too sings the same some song word by word as in the accident report ,Rathore & Ayesha are shocked.

Arjun speaks with Kanta & she too pretty much repeats what Ajay & her husband have said.Arjun asks about her son Roshan.She proudly tells him he is an engineering student.Roshan then picks up his school bag & leaves.Arjun notices the name of the coaching class he attends.

Back at the ETF headquarters there is some more brain storming & Shree reveals that Kanta has been receiving 3 lakhs per year from Ajay.The Motor Vehicle dept did not have anything against Ajay or the driver but Anjana was caught drunk at the wheel twice.Chotu informs that according to the neighbours many nights Ajay carried a drunken Anjana late into their home.Arjun says looking at the car involved in the accident the driver too should have been hurt.But the driver showed no injury but Anjana had an old mark on her neck which was noticed by Arjun the first time itself.

Arjun rushes back to Kanta’s house & confronts her about the money.She first claims her boss & his wife were kind hearted enough to help her but when Arjun declares that it was Anjana not her husband who killed Akash , she breaks down.
She confesses that her husband was bought over by the Malhotras with money & help in Roshan’s studies in exchange for his silence.He went to jail instead of Anjana.

Roshan walks in there with a balm in his hand.Arjun says Anjana was killed by the one who was most affected by this money deal.He points at Roshan.Kanta screams that her son was being targetted so Arjun pulls Roshan’s shirt apart.There is a huge bruise there.Arjun says he suspected that the driver of the killer car would be of small height like Roshan.He also got that bruise while
hitting Anjana.Roshan breaks down & confesses up to his crime.He has recently found out about what his father did at the behest of the Malhotras.Anjana had gone back to drinking & when Kanta questioned her, had slapped & insulted her.Roshan had seen this & was enraged.He decided to kill Anjana & Ajay.But Ajay luckily escaped & he knocked his wife down.

Rathore yells at Ajay for his cruelness & both him & Roshan are arrested. Sakshi says she will write about this in her article tomo & Arjun asks her to add about callous policemen who did not investigate Akash’s accident properly.

Sakshi says behind Arjun’s tough face there is an intelligent brain, Arjun retorts that she will be at a loss if she weighs brain power based on someone’s face.
Rathore promies action against those errant policemen too.
Shree mutters that Arjun also has a nasty tongue along with a tough face & sharp brain.Sakshi & Ash smile.Episode ends.

Precap: A woman is held at knifepoint.ETF is investigating a crime in the outdoors.Looks like a case of a missing wife.Arjun in a sweatshirt & cap fighting hand to hand with a goon.A woman is running furiously.Arjun in a cool green shirt saying something about a Meetali coming on her own & leaving with someone else.Looks like an action packed episode.
