Siddharth turns villain for ‘Madhubala…’
Actor Siddharth Vasudev has made an entry in a negative role in the ongoing daily soap “Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon” and hopes to attract the audience’s hate.
“It’s a negative character and such characters get less love, but as an actor I would try my best to perform, so that you hate me but not personally,” Siddharth said here Wednesday on the sets of the show.
He plays Bhujang Shastri in the show that comes on Colors.
Talking about his character, Siddharth said: “The intention of this character (Bhujang) is that he wants to be the top gangster, above Sultan (the main antagonist on the show). Somewhere he is unable to digest that Sultan has become the boss.”
Avinesh Rekhi portrays Sultan in the show, another recent entry.
“Madhubala…” revolves around Drashti Dhami’s character Madhubala and film star Rishabh Kundra, played by Vivian Dsena.
Siddharth was previously seen in Life OK’s daily soap “Amrit Manthan”.
