Jaya Bhattacharya joins Smriti Irani and Amarr Upadhyay in Ek Thhi Naayka

Jaya Bhattacharya who essayed the popular role of Paayal in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi joins Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay in Life OK’s next episodic story of Ek Thhi Naayka, produced by Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms).

As reported by a section of media, Smriti Irani who was to essay a nautch girl in her episode refused to take up that role. And Sakshi Tanwar went on to bag the above-said role. However, Smriti along with Amarr Upadhyay is part of yet another episodic based in Ahmedabad. Jaya Bhattacharya who was their co-star in Kyunki now joins them; she will essay the role of the ‘Daayan’.

When contacted, Jaya Bhattacharya confirmed the news stating, “Yes, you heard it right! I am shooting along with Smriti and Amarr for the episode. The last I worked with Smriti was in her show, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan. It is great to be working together again. I am yet to shoot with Amarr though. It is a nostalgic feeling to be on the sets as many of the spot dadas and technicians who were part of Kyunki are still with Balaji Telefilms.”

We had earlier written about the super-combination from Kahhin Kissi Roz, Mouli Ganguly, Sudha Chandran and Yash Tonk coming together for Ek Thhi Naayka. And now, it is the Tulsi-Mihir-Paayal combination of Kyunki that will get back to the small screen.
