Chandni Bhagwanani perfects her balancing act
Chandni who plays Amita in Sony TV’s Amita Ka Amit is beautifully striking a balance between her acting career and student life…
Chandni Bhagwanani aka Amita of Swastik Productions’ Amita Ka Amit, is successfully managing her professional as well as her student life. Yes, the actress is a student of mass media, studying in the second year of the course. We learnt that recently Chandani shot for 16 hours, all through the night and after the pack up she rushed home to freshen up and then straight to college for her presentation.
We spoke to Chandni to find out more about this hectic day and she said, “We were shooting continuously for a night sequence and I had my exam the next day. So, whenever I used to get a little time in between the shots, I used to go and study. I packed up at 5 in the morning and then went home to freshen up and then I was studying on the way to my college. I had a 7’oclock shift so I had not slept the entire day. I had to appear from a presentation exam worth 50 marks and the crew shot my close up shots first so that I could get some time to study. They were very co-operative. I am little scared now as my written exams are going to start from 21st March.”
When asked about the reason behind pursuing mass media, the young actress replied, “I was interested in pursuing ad designing and PR so I opted for mass media. I am currently in the second year and still have 1 more year to go. I will certainly complete the entire course. It is a little hectic for me to manage both the things together but if I have to complete my studies along with this, I will have to manage. In fact my principal has been very nice and co-operative. I study whenever I get time at home and in between the shots on the sets.”
Talking about her future plans post completing mass media, Chandni shares, “I will be acting. I will also take up a masters in advertising program so I may get into any advertising company.”
We wish Chandni all the very best for both her acting and academic life.
