Chahat Khanna blames Balaji Telefilms for her prolonged stay in Bade Achhe; wants to move out…….
Chahat Khanna has been threatening to quit Sony Entertainment Television’s hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain since the leap idea first got going. Now she claims that she has finally put down her papers and is serving the mandatory three months notice period in this Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms) produced show.
Chahat shared with us, “I have quit but Balaji Telefilms does not seem to have made up their mind to let me go for they are repeatedly cancelling auditions to find a new Aisha (her character’s name).”
So would you stay on? “I don’t think I would given the way my negative character is framing up. I am 95% sure of moving out.”
When we texted Ekta about the same, pat came an answer? “Does she know how many times I eat my meals too?” Hmm…someone seems to be a bit annoyed here.
Moving on… divorcee Chahat has also been in the news recently for her relationship issues. She had broke off her affair with Kanan Malhotra and then quickly got into a relationship with a guy called Farhan Mirza. Now it appears that the two may get married this year. Yesterday she had written a Facebook post which said, “just one month left.” This led to a speculation that she might be tying the knot in February (2013). However when we contacted Chahat she said, “One month status was not meant for marriage. It can mean several things. I have taken a flat as well and it will be ready by next month. I don’t feel the need to explain myself. Rest assured that I will scream from rooftops the day the real date is formalized.”
This conjecture has so much tired Chahat that she has decided to go off Facebook for good. “Too many people know me on this social networking platform and have started poking their nose in my private matters.”
However she will continue to maintain her Twitter account. “Agreed Twitter is more dangerous than Facebook for there anybody can send you a message, but I need to be active on this micro blogging site as most of my fans are there.”
Chahat also seems quite secure in her relationship with Farhan. “I really don’t care if he belongs to other religion. Even my parents are quite cool about him being a Muslim. I believe in love and not organized religions which anyways are manmade.”
In closing we asked Chahat would the baggage of her previous marriage and relationship scare her, “I don’t know what you are talking about,” she quipped in an attempt to avoid answering the question.
