No show can survive only on the basis of popularity: Sanaya Irani
Sanaya Irani has been having a jolly good time with her family, post the abrupt closure of her popular show on Star Plus, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
Says Sanaya, “I usually do not plan anything for the future, as I believe that one will get what he/she deserves. I am enjoying my break at the moment and had been out of the country with friends.”
Sanaya recently shot for her first reality show on Life OK, Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki. On her new experience, Sanaya states, “After being part of fiction for quite some time now, the reality show experience was a refreshing change. I have shot for my part in the project. It was an experience to cherish.”
When asked whether she regrets the early closure of her show Iss Pyaar and the actress is quick to say, “Well, it has been a while since Iss Pyaar ended, but this question never seems to leave me. All I can say is that it was a sad feeling that we were given a notice of only four days. But I enjoyed working with the whole unit. I can say that no show can survive only on the popularity basis; there are many factors that can go into the show’s closure.”
Ask her whether she has been tipped to play the lead in 4 Lions Films’ upcoming show for Life OK and she avers, “I have not got into any discussion for my next project at the moment. I don’t know where this buzz has come from.”
On her expectations from the year 2013, Sanaya says, “As I told you, I never plan anything. And there are no expectations whatsoever.”
Sanaya, hope you get back to the world of small screen very soon.
