Cabir Maira and little Drisha are the ‘best of friends’ on the sets of Life OK’s 26-12
Cabir Maira, who essays the role of Jiddah in Life OK’s 26-12, produced by Sphere Origins shares a beautiful camaraderie off screen with the little girl Dhrisha Kalyani who enacts the role of Suchi in the show.
Though Cabir as Jiddah is at his menacing best around Suchi in the serial, the two of them are often seen spending time together whenever they have free time on the sets in between takes.
Talking about it, Cabir tells us, “Well, Suchi is always very convincingly scared of Jiddah while performing for the camera, but as soon as the cameras are switched off, Suchi transforms to Dhrisha very quickly and starts hanging out and chilling with me. We both sit together and play video games. She loves to crack jokes and is a bundle of excitement and is very playful. In fact, when her mom and dad are on the sets, we sit and spend time together, exchanging stories and cracking jokes.”
Cabir is enjoying playing Jiddah to the core, but feels very sorry for little Drisha as Jiddah has to be super cruel when it comes to Suchi.
“Yes, the only tricky aspect of being Jiddah is that I feel bad when I have to harass and terrorize this cute little girl. Drisha is a darling though, and knows when to switch on and off from her onscreen role to being her natural happy self. She’s a very intelligent little girl and an awesome child actor.”
So sweet, Cabir!!!
