Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 1st January 2013 Written Update

Episode starts with Ram getting shocked seeing Rahul in his house. Rajat tells Ram that he did Rahul’s bail, and he thought that Rahul would feel comfortable in Ram’s house so dropping him there. Ram asks Rahul to go to guest room. Rahul leaves.

Ram then asks Rajat, what is your problem? Why do you always interfere in others personal matters? Rajat says, I felt like I am responsible for all this because Cady was confused and came to me to ask who should she meet. And it was me who told her that if your intentions aren’t wrong, then there is no problem in meeting both of them. Rajat then says, I will tell Priya and Neha that Rahul is in your house. Ram says, wait a minute.. you don’t need to tell anything to Priya.. I will tell her. Ram asks, when Priya doesn’t feel comfortable with you, then why do you want to talk to her? Rajat says, excuse me? Ram says, yes Priya told me by herself that she is not comfortable with you and that’s why she doesn’t come to book cafe. Rajat says, if she said that then I respect her decision. I understand that she needs some space, but book cafe is hers.. no one can handle it better than her.. just because of me, she can’t leave it. I will meet her and talk to her.. all these situations shouldn’t affect her. Ram gets irritated and asks, what is this book care all the time? She doesn’t want to talk to you. And do you really think that you two could have became good business partners? Are you mad or what? Its not possible.. priya and me.. Rajat asks, you and Priya what? Why don’t you tell her that you love her? Everytime your ego, pride.. just give it up. ANd if you can’t say, then I can tell her on your behalf. Ram says, enough.. whatever I want to say. I will tell her by myself, she is my wife. Please stay out of my business. Ram leaves.

Priya returns to her flat. Neha asks her, how’s Cady? Priya says, what should I say, yaar? You say, should I bring anything for you? Neha says, some peace of mind. Neha says, find me someone who can take my decisions on my behalf because I can’t take any decision. Priya says, I know.. you’re very tensed right now.. things are getting complicated instead of getting better. But trust me, everything will be fine. Rahul and Rehan are kids, and as they don’t know each other, they are fighting. But as adults we should make them understand. Neha says, I want to talk to them, but Rahul just doesn’t want to see my face. She says, I feel I am getting divided in 2 different parts. On one side, I am Rahul’s mother.. Vikram’s wife.. and on the other site, I am Rehna’s mother. I know Rahul very well.. he wouldn’t do all this that he’s doing these days.. he is just doing it because he’s hurt. She says, I wish I could talk to him and explain everything to him, but he just doesnt want to listen to me. She then says, but I am happy as well because he is not talking with me right now.. because he would ask me only one question.. whether I am his mother or Rehna’s. ANd I don’t have an answer to this question because I am mother of both of them. I can’t reject one and select another.

Priya tells Neha, I understand you.. it’s impossible for a mother to choose one. All kids are same for a mother. But their parents have to be in same team.. when you talk with Rahul, Vikram has to be there with you. You need to talk with Vikram and explain him that it is required. Neha says, Vikram is already handling my issues.. how can I expect more from him? Priya says, but we have to find solution of this problem right? At least tell Vikram about Rahul’s bail. He’s angry right now.. but his anger will get less in night, and when he goes to do Rahul’s bail in the morning, he will find out that someone did his bail already. And he will get even more angry. Priya says, I think you should call Vikram and tell him about this. Neha says, you’re right and she goes to call Vikram.

She calls Vikram and as soon as she takes Rahul’s name. Vikram gets angry and says, please I don’t want talk about him.. he has done a mistake and he will spend whole in night in the jail.. so please don’t take his side. My decision is final. Neha says, actually Rahul has got bail already. VIkram asks, what? Who did his bail? Neha says, Rajat did. Vikram now gets even more angry and says, how can Rajat do this? I decided something for our son, how can Rajat interfere in that? And you were there.. why didn’t you stop him? Neha says, why and how would I stop him? You left from there. And Rahul is our son.. how could I let him stay inside jail. Vikram says, we have 2 more kids.. and I can’t run away from my other responsibilities like you. Neha says, how can you say that I ran away from my responsibility? Vikram says, why should I not say that? Give me one good reason.. the truth is that you ran away when we had to be together as a unit. You ran away from your responsibility. Neha says, but when I told you that I am leaving this house.. you said you’re my friend and you understand. Vikram says, I am just not your friend.. I am your husband too. But you’re forgetting that. You just used me whole life whenever you needed me as a friend or as a husband.

Vikram continues, I can’t be your friend for entire life. I need my wife in this crisis, but where are you? You left this house. The problem is that you neither became a good wife nor a good mother. And that’s the truth. Neha asks, how can you say that? Do you realize what you said to me? You really think it’s all my fault for all that’s happening? Vikram says, no.. but you have a major role in all this. Your one truth broke our house. Because of our relationship, Rahul is behaving this way today. And it is your fault. Neha says, please at least you don’t say that. Please understand me. Vikram says, I always understand you.. but for a change, why don’t you try to understand me today? He hangs up. Neha is crying.

Rahul is also sad. Ram comes to his room and asks him, why did you do all this? I know you since childhood.. you’re such a nice kid. You never did anything wrong. I even know that you love Vikram and Neha, then why did you do this? Do you realize how much they got embarrassed seeing you inside a lockup? Rahul says, there is nothing like that Ram uncle. My parents don’t care about me. They just don’t bother about me. Ram says, what is this yaar? since when you started thinking like that? Have you gone mad? Do you know how much Vikram loves you. Rahul says, even I used to think that dad is my best friend, but what did he do today? If he really loves me, then why didn’t he do my bail when he did bail of that Rehna who broke our family. Ram says, he did that because he cares more about you. He thought you would understand something if you stay inside lockup for one night. Rahul says, you’re his best friend, so it’s obvious that you would take his side. But with whom I share my problems now? Dad has really hurt me a lot today. and mum.. she left us since long time.

Ram asks, how do you know that? Have you seen her? Have you spent time with her? How do you know what she is going thru right now? First she has to handle herself before she faces you guys. And whatever it is, she is your mother and we have no rights to judge our parents. Rahul says, but why did she hide the truth? She could have told me about Rehan for once. Ram asks, why should she tell you? She is mother so whenever she wants, she would tell you. Ram calmly says to him, you’re having big misunderstanding.. please try to understand. Ram’s mother comes there and watching all this standing at the door. Ram continues, I was in same situation as you. I also used to think that my mother left me because she didn’t came about me. I stayed away from my mother for 20 years, but later I found that she left me because she was caring about me so much.

Ram continues, please Rahul, I beg of you .. don’t do same mistake as me. Ram’s mother gets emotional. Ram leaves.

Rajat is driving back to his house and recalling Ram’s word that Priya doesn’t want to listen to Rajat and all that. He’s feeling sad.

Priya is speaking to herself that there should be a solution this all these issues with Vikram’s family, but what? At the same time, she receives a call from Rajat. Rajat tells her, I am worried about Cady.. as you know she doesn’t share anything to me.. maybe she told you anything. Can we meet up and talk about her? I am really worried. Priya says, yes I talked with her and she’s very upset. And in fact, I was thinking to talk with you regarding that. They decide to meet up tomorrow.

Ram’s mother goes to his room and apologizes to Ram for hearing his and Rahul’s conversation. She says, I am very happy that you forgave me. Thank you very much for forgiving me. Ram says, what are you talking? you don’t have to thank me.. and I should be apologizing to you. Now I have realized that it was all my fault. Ram’s mother asks him, but how did you realize it all of a sudden? Ram says, Priya helped me in realizing this. Whatever Priya did recently made me realize this. Just because of me, she separated herself from Peehu. And today I know, whatever you did.. you did for me, just like how Priya did for Peehu. Till today, I was just thinking that I stayed away from my mother, but I never thought that you also stayed away from me. N you would also have missed me. The way Priya sent Peehu to me without any court case or fights, really made me realize a lot.

Ram’s mother tells him, as you have realized everything and you forgave me. Please forgive Priya as well. Go and bring Priya back to this house. I know that you two are incomplete without each other. Ram tells her, it’s not as easy as you think. I have got married 2nd time.. I want to do a lot, but its not easy.
