Viraf Phiroz Patel to be the new male protagonist of Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar
Viraf Phiroz Patel portrayed the lovable character of Shiv to the ‘T’ in Sony Entertainment Television’s Mahi Way. The handsome actor will now be seen in a contrastingly different role in Star Plus’ Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar, produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms.
Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar, talks about how a mother seeks justice from the system for the untimely death of her son. With the track interestingly poised with the probable death of the central character Nimay (played by Anshul Trivedi), the show will now get its male lead in Viraf. He will play a very interesting role, that of a guy who will be the sole support to the shattered mother, Vani (Mangal Kenkre).
And with this will start the journey of Vani who can only rise after the major setback she has received in life.
Our readers would remember that we recently wrote about Arjun Bijlani apparently making his entry into the show as Nimay’s very close friend. Viraf will be the next big addition in the show, and will fill the void of the male protagonist.
When contacted, Viraf Phiroz Patel refused to comment.
We sent a text message to producer Shyamashis Bhattacharya, but did not get his revert.
For the uninitiated, Viraf was finalized to play the lead in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon earlier, but could not take up the challenge as the channel decided to end the show with the departure of Barun Sobti.
Viraf, we are indeed looking forward to your stunning comeback on television.
