Veera 24th December 2012 Written Update

* Chaiji tells Kartar[on phone] to get a Rumala to offer to God as it has been a good farming season. Ranvi asks and she explains him that we offer something to God if we get more than we expect.

*Ranvi thinks to gift Ratan something as she has done so much for him and Veera.He asks suggestions from Veera. They finally decide to get a chunri using the amount saved in ghullak.

* Ratan is repairing the pump in the field. She is not able to do it. A neighboring farmer tries to help her. He indirectly asks Ratan to approach him whether there is a problem in the field or when she needs a man. The farmer bad mouths Sampooran for leaving such a good wife. Ratan is extremely angry and shouts at him to get out.

* Veera and Ranvi are going to the market for purchasing the gift. She is catching her Veerji’s kurta. They go to a shop and observe how a woman is bargaining. The shopkeeper finishes that customer and attends them. Both decide to get a yellow chunri. When asked for the money , he asks them just to pay Rs.1. But Veera uses the lady’s technique and asks him to give it for half the price. Owner gives them the chunri for free.

*Ranvi’s taiji meets Kartar’s wife Gurpreet on streets. She enquires about her health. GP tells her that Kartar couldnt take her to hospital as he had to complete some urgent work for Ratan. Taiji tries instigating her against Ratan. GP is confused.

* Ratan is standing near the pump at home and telling what happened with her. She is on a self talk with Sampooran. Chaiji asks her whats the matter. She cries and explains what the farmer said to her.

Precap: Ranvi putting the chunri over Ratan. She has closed her eyes. Ranvi asks her to turn and look in the mirror. She looks at the chunri and is upset.
