Anamika 21st December 2012 Written Update

Jeet goes to meet Anamika at her place with a bunch of white lilies. He knocks on the door but finding it open he goes on in. There is no one in the hall. He quietly goes & places the diary on a table. That is when Anamika comes in. He is once more mesmerized by her beauty. She asks if the lilies are for her. He says yes…and on her request puts the lilies in a vase. He says that I have come to thank you since you were the only one who said with full conviction that things will sort out soon. She is glad that he remembers her even in his good times. She thanks him for returning the diary back and asks him if he has read it. He says of course he hasnt read it as there is nothing to be read…there is only one word in it…intezaar! He realizes that he has inadvertently accepted that he went through the diary & goes silent. Anamika smiles at him & thanks him for coming to meet her. She says his coming here has reduced her loneliness. Only the darkness knows the true value of light. A silence really waits to hear some noise. If you cant understand this you will never understand the meaning of “intezaar”. She says in order to understand “intezaar” he will have to wait a bit more. Jeet asks her why does she always find pain in everything? Anamika says she likes pain as it has a lot of depth. She holds out her hand towards him & they shake hands. Anamika has tears in her eyes when their hands meet. She said you have ended my long wait by returning the diary…you have reduced my pain. Jeet leaves the house. Anamika is watching him quietly from the window upstairs. The flowers which she had placed in the vase downstairs are in her hand now!!!!

Ranos mother tells her that they have to go to Jeets place in the evening to meet a boy Shekhar. Rano gets sad on hearing this & tells Guddi that she loves Jeet & doesnt want to ever leave her family or Jeet.

In the evening Rano, Guddi & their mother come to Jeets house. Jeet isnt home then. The grooms party comes…Shekhar & his parents accompanied by Mrs. Chaddha. Shekhar is an architect. Rano sits there for a short time & then slips away quietly. Shekhars mother tells Pratap that Shekhar has got a good job offer in England & hence they would like him to get married soon. Bebe tries to stall the marriage talks by saying that we should first let Rano & Shekhar talk & then if they like each other we should think of marriage.

Precap: Bebe goes to meet Rano who is upstairs. She tells Rano that she will try talking to Pratap once more. Rano requests her not to as Pratap is like a father to her & she cannot insult him by going against his will
