Salman Yusuff Khan has a bad fall at BIG Star Entertainment awards

Yesterday night 16 December DID 1 (Dance India Dance ) winner and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 contestant, Salman Yusuff Khan, who was performing at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards, met with an accident after he had a bad fall.

According to sources, as part of his performance which was choreographed by dance guru Remo D’Souza, Salman was to jump from a height on a plank suspended in the air and then use the same to come down among the audience.

He was dancing to song from Remo’s upcoming film ABCD (Anybody Can Dance). Unfortunately, when Salman landed on the plank during the main event, it gave way under his weight after which he fell 15 to 20 feet below. He was immediately rushed to the Kokilaben Hospital where at first, the doctors, attending on him, feared a paralysis as he was disoriented and could not respond to pain on left side of his body.

But luckily, later all the reports came clean and he was subsequently discharged. Another source however said that all is not well yet and we will come to know only in two days time if the young dancer is ok. However, the doctors are hopeful for his recovery. He is also suffering from lots of external bruises all over his body and is in considerable pain. He is also finding it difficult to talk under the effect of strong pain killers, added our source.

The source then goes to add that during rehearsal yesterday, after the plank broke down at the first place, Salman had complained to Remo who screamed at the helping hands of the event management team(Big FM). He asked them to use a stronger plank during the actual event.

In the evening, Salman again asked whether everything was in order to which he was told that it had been taken care of. Yet ,the accident happened.

Remo’ manager Waqar, however, had a different story to say. “No plank broke during the rehearsal and that the accident was very unfortunate.” He also added that luckily Salman’s injury was not something major and hence he had been discharged from the hospital within half an hour of admission.”

When we took the same story to Salman’s manager, Pratik, he said,“ He did not want to talk about Remo sir as both are good friends. But his manager should not have said the above things for the plank indeed broke down.”

He also confirmed that Salman was still in a lot of discomfort and his left side was still a bit numb. “He does not feel that if there was any negligence, it was not part of Remo sir as he had asked the event management guys to get a better plank,” he maintained.
