Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 13th December 2012 Written Update

Brief Update:
starts with Priya trying to ake understand Ram to take Pihu’s custody case back because it will be very tough for Pihu to choose between her mother (Priya) and her father (Ram).

Ram reuses to take case back and clears Priya that he wants to enjoy each moment of his daughter pihu. Mama ji tells Ayesha to impress Ram and prepare herself for court.

Ram’s family discuss that Ram should stop Pihu’s custody. Kady is upset to not get call from Rohan and Rehaan brings smile on face by gifting her a bukey.

Mamaji and Ayesha discuss about her speech for Pihu and Rishabh’s wife taunt the, Ramfeels happy on thinking that Pihu will now stay with him.

Priya is worried that Pihu and she might seprate after the court hearing and gift a locket to Pihu. Ram tells his advocate that he wants Pihu’s custody at any cost.

Detailed Update:
Priya sitting with her phone looks worried and calls Ram.
Ram: Yes Priya..
Priya: How are you now?
Ram: I’m a little better.
Priya: I wanted to speak to you..actually I had a request to make.
Ram: yes go ahead.
Priya: Mr Kapoor, do you still want to go ahead with this custody case?
Ram: Why? Do you want me to drop this case?
Priya: Why don’t you understand Mr Kapoor..this is a question of Peehu’s life. It’s not fair to her. This five year old child has to choose between either one of her parents-whether she likes it or not. Think what will happen after the case gets over.
Ram gets irritated and tells : I understand everything. I just know one thing- My daughter will now live with me, just the same way she lived with you all these five years.
Priya: Please just this once reconsider your decision, think..
Ram: Did you think Priya? Did you even reconsider once for my sake? For five years? And what has happened to you all of a sudden? Are you scared?
Priya: Yes, I am scared, very scared after what happened that night at the party. After that I am very very scared-you got shot at-anything could have happened. Ram sighs at the other end. Life is too short. Why do we get caught in trivialities(what is trivial Priya??)
Ram: I am also scared ok? You want to know the truth? That’s the truth- I am scared now. After being shot, I have realised how fragile life is and now I feel all the more that my daughter should come to me. Now it is even more important that I don’t miss even a moment of my daughter’s life. I want every single moment of her life to be in front of me. Don’t you understand?
Priya: I agree whatever you say is absolutely correct but do we have to go to court? Can’t we look for some other solution for this-a solution where both of us can spend time with Peehu.
Ram shakes his head sadly and says-there is no other way.
Priya: Please Mr Kapoor, Peehu is my life..Ram says angrily-what do you think? She is not my life?
Priya: I never said that..I just wanted to..Ram interrupts and says Good night Priya , I’ll see you in court and hangs up. Both of them look at their phones-sadly.. Priya sighs.

Scene shifts- Ayesha looking at dresses..mamaji walks in..Ayesha tells him he always lands up to ruin her happiness and create problems for her-Mamaji tells her I don’t create problems for you-you do it yourself.
Mamaji tells her I have told you so many times that you have to look after Ram and prove you are a good wife-he has just come from hospital but you are more worried about your clothes.
Ayesha asks him why should she impress Ram? She is Ayesha Ram Kapoor, she lives in his house, she is his wife (Grrrrrrrr)
Mamaji tells her that her over-confidence is going be the reason for her fall! He says tomorrow the case is coming to court-he is definitely winning it-then Beti no. 1 In the house-After that Biwi No. 1 In the house ..
Ayesha: You think too much..chill Nothing of that sort will happen-he will not get Peehu’s custody so Peehu won’t come here and since Priya is Mother India she will not let go of Peehu..
Mamaji asks her why she has strewn all her fashionable clothes? Ayesha says tomorrow is the hearing-it is her Public appearance. I have to go with Ram so I have to look the part. Mamaji asks her if she plans to wear such short dresses to court? The judge will forget the judgement he wrote and will not give custody to Ram-Ayesha says that is what she wants- Mamaji asks her to speak softly in case something goes wrong and asks her to prove to the court that she is a good mother and wife. He continues by asking her what if the judge asks her questions on how she is a good mother-Ayesha is worried-she says she has to get prepared, has to change clothes.
Scene shifts- Kapoor Khaandaan
Dadi, KK Rishab and Sowmya-KK asks if Rishab is talking to the lawyer.He says yes. Dadi says she cannot understand why Golu is doing this ( do you people ever understand him?) He has just returned from hospital and now he wants to go straight to court. The Bappa girl walks in and says we all want him to drop the case and find a solution with Priya Bhabhi ..KK agrees( that is what she does most of the time anyway!) and says Ram is not listening to anyone in this matter and I am very worried about this case.( Really?) Why doesn’t Ram understand that no one will benefit in this court drama (yeah we know about the BT kangaroo courts LOL)
Rishab says Ma Bhai’s mind is made up whether we agree or not.

Scene shifts.. Kady pacing in her room-monologue( Priya’s friend obviously) saying Rahul has not called or even texted her- Big, fat ego (DIDI IS THAT YOUR FAV LINE??) talking to herself and wants to call and then changes her mind-says he owes her an apology. The door bell rings –there is a cake and a bunch of flowers with a note saying thanks- from Rehaan-bell rings again –Rehaan at the door-smiles (Yuckkkkk), salutes her and walks away (mature love-story hai bhai- yeh tho chote acche lagte hain)

Scene shifts-Kush sitting down nursing a wound-Bappa girl walks in and asks what happened. He tells her he got hurt while playing cricket- She says she would dress the wound but Kush wants to go to his mother. Mamaji still giving her lessons-playing judge and asking her if Peehu’s custody is granted to Ram,how would she look after him? Ayesha says she will look after him like a mother does-Mamaji wants her to show some emotion ( mamaji u must know by now that usey acting nahin aathi hehehe-You are asking for the moon here!) She runs to her dressing table and applies glycerine and tells that she would take care of Peehu like a mother-mamaji is impressed. Sowmya walks in claps and says before doing this mother act at least be one-if this is a new drama to impress Ram it is cheap and disgusting-she chides mamaji and asks why he is encouraging her-mamaji says he was giving her moral support..Sowmya asks her to look after Kush and walks away-Ayesha is irritated and asks why mamaji didn’t lock the door and asks Kush why he went to her-Mamaji tells her atleast apply medicine-you can’t take care of Kush, how will you take care of Peehu?

Scene shifts:

Ram giving instructions to Bansi kaka and Hari-Tells them listen carefully, tomorrow my daughter is going to come here to live with me. I want everything to be perfect for her. KK looks on.
Ram: Peehu likes whatever I do –anyway you cook my favourite dishes, make more for Peehu and .. ice-creams-every single flavour of ice-creams and Hari-check her room is clean-in fact I will come to supervise..
KK: Khabardaar Ram..don’t u get out of bed (Arrey wah KK boli???) The doctor has advised bed-rest so..
Ram: Ma I know you are right but it is just that Peehu will come home after tomorrow’s hearing and I want to double check if everything is alright
KK: Look, you have instructed them to do it-let them do it under your supervision.
Ram: Ma, you don’t know how happy I am that finally, finally Peehu will come home to me. (Awwwwwwwwwwwwww) That was sooooooooooooo cute

Scene shifts

Priya is checking Peehu’s bag, she sits down and sees Peehu’s drawing book- BG plays Mere ghar aaye ek nanhi pari..Priya looking at Peehu’s drawings lost in thoughts-fb-nurse handing Peehu to Priya at the hospital,sweet Peehu moments, Peehu hugging her,Peehu at the snow park,she looks at Peehu’s clips and hairband, remembers Peehu crying and asking where she went away and did she think how Peehu could live without her? Fb of Peehu wiping Priya’s tears after Dubai party, sharing a bite with Peehu..lovely moments. Priya takes out her diary and starts writing..
Finally that day has arrived when Peehu will have to choose between her parents-without knowing, without understanding anything. She will have to take such a big decision (why does Peehu have to take the decision-beats me)
Why is all this happening? In these two days I have been introduced to life once more-when Mr Kapoor was shot-my heart stopped beating and tomorrow Peehu is going to court-don’t know what will happen-not able to breathe once more-am scared that my most precious thing will get snatched away from me. I wish I could just freeze time-take my baby in my lap and hide her from the world (Didn’t you do that once-don’t even think about it) :a whole lot of memories and moments-how will I gather all these in just one night-tears fall ( ST rocked) She closes her eyes and sighs..

Priya is sitting with her hands on her head thinking..Peehu comes running inside.
Peehu: Mumma Mumma what are you doing?
Priya: Nothing Peehu, tell me what do you want.
Peehu: Mumma, have you packed my school bag?
Priya: Yes madam, I have packed your school bag..smiles
Peehu: And my drawing book?
Priya: Drawing book? I haven’t packed it yet but will do it before you leave for school.
Peehu: Mumma do you know you are the world’s best mother..(Awwwwwwwwwww Peehu)
Priya: Smiles and says my princess is the best baby in the world. (so sweet)
Peehu: Mumma, aren’t we sleeping now? Everyday you switch off the lights and ask me to sleep as it is late!
Priya: Yes you are absolutely right, we should go to sleep but before that Mumma wants to give you something-a gift but for that you have to shut your eyes..Peehu tries to open her eyes (oooooooooh such a sweetheart you are Peehu) Priya says No cheating..no cheating..
Priya takes out a chain from a box and says open your eyes-Peehu is very happy and says
Wow Mumma it is so pretty but you have a rule right-one gift a month? Priya fastens the chain around Peehu’s neck and says: Yes , I have my rule but this is for such a mumma’s lovely baby who is like a princess, it is not a problem to break rules. Sometimes it is ok.
Priya gets emotional and tells Peehu-this will always be with you-whether your mother is with you or not.
Peehu looks worried and asks her Mumma, you promised me you would never leave me?( Awwwwwww poor Peehu) Priya remembers the time when Peehu got lost in the mall-fb when Priya saw Peehu in her bookshop-remembers saying sorry to Peehu. Fb of the scene at Sharma house after Priya returns from hospital and promises Peehu to never leave her ( Peehu, your mother makes these promises..)
Priya says yes I promised but…then changes the topic and says-Peehu it is very late. You have to sleep now-you are awake for such a long time-come on-Peehu asks her-today’s story??
Priya: Story?? Can’t you sleep without listening to a story? Peehu says no cutely. Priya then asks Peehu to tell her a story for a change.
Peehu says no you have to tell. Priya says ok go and lie down I will change and come..but Peehu starts stamping her feet and says ABHI ABHI ABHI ( just like your dad Peehu Mwaaaaaaah)
Priya folds her hands in front of Peehu as if she is praying and says-Abhi chalo come..
Priya takes Peehu to bed and tells her you are very stubborn-very very stubborn( she takes after both her parents LOL)
Scene shifts- Ram looking at the custody papers ..Priya putting Peehu to sleep . The whole scene is a beautiful one-Sakshi and Amruta just rocked it .

Ram makes a call to his lawyer.
Ram: Mr Khurana, I was just going through the files and double checking all the paper-work. Asks the lawyer if they are fully prepared for the case the next day.
Ram: You have to understand I don’t want anything to go wrong. You know how important this case is for me. I want my daughter tomorrow no matter what happens. So, I hope you are ready.
Priya telling a story but her mind is wandering..the bg of Bade ache lagte hain plays and the screen splits into two-On one side Priya with Peehu and on the other it is a thoughtful Ram.

Precap: Rajat and Ram are waiting outside court. Priya arrives there. Ram asks her, what is this? First you’re late and on top of that you didn’t bring Peehu with you. Did you get that scared? Don’t worry.. it’s just matter of 2 hours.. after that Peehu will be with me.
