Shweta Gautam’s entry in Sahara One’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna to open up a mystery track

Shweta Gautam after essaying challenging roles in Creative Eye’s noted shows Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam and Ganesh Leela joins the cast of their Sahara One show, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.. She gets to essay the role of Shakuntala, who is the younger sister of Gitanjali (Dolly Sohi). As per the presently aired promo, there is a big mystery which is to be unravelled and the entry of Shakuntala’s character will only add to the intrigue.

The entire family will be surprised when Gitanjali all of a sudden brings her demented younger sister Shakuntala into the house. Shakuntala is a girl who is always afraid of something. She would get into a shock every time she sees Aditya (Susheel Hinduja). Also, Shakuntala who has the nature of a child tries to protect Meera (Binny Sharma) from Aditya. The family will receive a further shock when Shakuntala calls Meera by the name of Lakshmi.

Who is this Shakuntala and how is her past related to Meera and Aditya?

When contacted, Shweta Gautam told us, “Well, this is my fourth show for Creative Eye and I thank Dheeraj Kumarji for this opportunity. This is a very challenging role wherein an actor gets a lot of acting scope. As a kid, I used to always get bowled over by Sridevi’s acting and I wanted to become like Sridevi. As I grew up, I realized that there can only be one Sridevi (smiles), but this role that I play is more or less inspired from Sridevi’s character in the movie Sadma. And I feel privileged to play such a role. I would like to thank Amrish Sharma who cast me for this role.”

Shweta Gautam has started shooting and her entry will be aired this week.
