Chandigarh
Maanvi enters her room, deep in thought about Shekhawat. Virat is looking at himself in the mirror, when he notices Maanvi. He turns and asks her what is she thinking about. She is about to reply, when she realizes she’d better not talk about Shekhawat just yet, which is why she says she’s thinking about someone who trapped her for lifetime. Virat gets pissed, and tells her that he’ll pummel the person who trapped her. Maanvi retorts that even if he’s grown in height, his brain never really grew and stayed in his knees. She tells him that she’s thinking about him, to which Virat asks which direction did the sun rise from. She replies saying that its night already, so they should be talking about the moon. Virat calls himself Devdas, and says he loves her as much as Devdas loved Paro, but Maanvi is no Paro. Maanvi then pretends to be Paro with a fake diya in her hand, and laments about how she kept the diya lit for years. Virat ‘as Dev- retorts that it was not needed, and she could have instead kept a tubelight lit, which would be beneficial to everyone. Maanvi blows out her fake diya on his face, and tells him how he just killed the romance. Virat then goes up to her and lifts her up in his arms and they’re clearly about to get some action, when Jeevika comes in, and coughs. Shocked, Virat nearly drops Maanvi, but keeps her down properly. He comments that Jeevika has terrible timing, while Maanvi retorts that Jeevika always has perfect timing. Jeevika senses a Virat-Maanvi argument in the passing and asks them to calm down for a bit. She then tells them that she is beyond delighted to see them this happy. Maanvi credits their happiness to Viren and Jeevika, to which Jeevika denies, and she blesses them. Maanvi also reiterates her blessing.
The next morning, Maanvi goes into Shekhawat’s room, when she sees that its empty. She decides to take advantage of the situation and begins to search the room for possible clues against him. She picks up an album and is about to flip through it when she hears sounds from the bathroom and is stunned. We then see Shekhawat coming out of the washroom, looking around suspiciously, while Maanvi is crouched behind a sofa. He gets a call from Jaiswal, reminding him about a meeting. Obviously, Maanvi has overheard this, and she decides to follow him to find out the truth.
Caf
Shekhawat reaches a caf, and Maanvi is seen to be following him discreetly. Shekhawat enquires the reason for Jaiswal’s presence in Chandigarh, to which he replies that he is here to check on Shekhawat’s plans, cause he doesn’t seem to be doing anything to harm Viren, Inder or Vijay. Maanvi is shocked on listening to all this.
Vadhera Mansion
Jeevika is looking for Maanvi in her room, when Virat comes in, asking for Maanvi as well. While they are discussing where could she possibly go, Swamini comes, and is displeased by the fact that she has left without informing everyone. Virat tries to placate her by saying that she’ll return soon, but Swamini comments snidely that if her sister and husband aren’t worried about her, why should Swamini herself take tension? Jeevika is about to call Maanvi, when Swamini tells her to cut it, and prepare to listen to a new story about Shekhawat.
Caf
Shekhawat tells Jaiswal to wait a bit, and the Vadheras will be destroyed. Maanvi then replies from the opposite table that this mission of theirs won’t even begin. Jaiswal and Shekhawat are shocked to see her there. She walks up to them, and tells them that she knows the truth. She tells Shekhawat that she won’t let anything happen, and he should be wary of his destruction. Shekhawat laughs, and asks her how will she destroy him, to which she replies that she will tell all the Vadheras about his truth. He laughs and tells her the story of The Boy Who Screamed Wolf, metaphorically meaning that she has raised suspicions on him so many times, that no one is going to believe her this time round. Maanvi tells him not to worry, cause she has proof against him this time. He tells her to go ahead, and wishes her all the best. He then tells her to run along to tell her story of the truth to the rest of the Vadheras. Both of them walk off, leaving a perplexed and confused Maanvi behind.
Parking Lot
At the car, Jaiswal is furious at Shekhawat for telling Maanvi the truth. He tells Jaiswal to calm down, cause Maanvi wouldn’t be able to do anything against him, as she is an amateur when it comes to playing games. Jaiswal is placated, and leaves for his home.
Vadhera Mansion
Maanvi enters, and sees all the Vadheras gathered in the living room. She is happy, and tells them that she can’t believe whom she saw. Viren is asking her about what/who did she see, when she tells them that she saw Jaiswal. All are shell-shocked. She is about to tell them that she saw Jaiswal with Shekhawat, when he enters, and says she obviously saw Jaiswal with him. Maanvi is beyond shocked, and he reiterates what he said, to which Maanvi feebly agrees. Swamini then says that she knows that Shekhawat was with Jaiswal cause he admitted it to her. All look at her in shock. Viren asks Shekhawat as to why did he meet Jaiswal, to which he replies that Jaiswal tried to convince him to help him destroy the family. He also comments that he’d never do anything of the sort, and it was silly of Jaiswal to think that he’d help him. Viren and Jeevika looked at him in disbelief, as he tells them that he knows all of Jaiswal’s plans. He then promises to thwart Jaiswal as he knows all of his plans. Viren and Jeevika look thoughtful about this, while the rest seem to agree. Maanvi is too shocked to react. Dadajee advises Shekhawat to be wary of Jaiswal as he is a cunning fellow, to which he replies that he is a step ahead of Jaiswal. Maanvi looks around pleadingly to see if anyone distrusts his claptrap. The Vadhera Brothers and Jeevika look rather disbelievingly at him, while the rest are thoughtful. He then passes a couple of indirect taunts directed at Maanvi and her nature to suspect him, and how he will destroy the people who come in his way. Jeevika quietly ishaarofies to Maanvi to shut up for the time-being.
Jeevika is in her room folding clothes, when Shekhawat comes in, and is leering at her, like always. He tells her that he is here to talk about Maanvi, as he doesn’t understand why is she behind him. He tells her that he is scared that cause of Maanvi’s incessant suspicions, the rest might begin to suspect him. Jeevika reassures him that Maanvi is immature, and doesn’t exactly know what she’s doing, to which Shekhawat replies that her immaturity may ruin his life and image. He then begins to compare both the sisters, indirectly insulting Maanvi and making a pass on Jeevika at the same time. At the same time, Viren enters from behind, and isn’t pleased to see Shekhawat in his room. Jeevika’s eyes light up on seeing Viren, and she goes up to him. Shekhawat carefully walks out of the room, saying his work is done. Viren closes the door behind him, asking Jeevika what the heck was all that about. She replies that Shekhawat is a bit worried about Maanvi’s suspicions, to which Viren replies that Maanvi isn’t wrong in any way. Episode ends at this point.
Precap:
Inder is arguing with Vijay about why can’t he fight a particular case, to which he replies that Viren has more experience, so he will handle it. Inder loses his cool, and says that it is Vijay’s fault, cause he made him sit and do a clerical job for 15 years of his career. Vijay then says that he did what he could do, and Inder replies that he now needs to think about what he can do and what can’t he do. Viren, Jeevika and Maanvi are staring at this exchange in shock, while Shekhawat has an evil smirk on his face, and the inner voice tells how this is only the beginning.
