Diya Aur Baati Hum 7th December 2012 Written Update

Masterji calls everyone’s name for attendance. He calls Pappu’s name who just enters asking permission to come in. Masterji allows him in and he touches masterji’s feet and takes blessings. Sandhya is surprised to see him. Master then calls Sandhya’s name and she has the flashback of Suraj describing her how the master would call her namd she would say “yes sir.” She smiles and says yes sir. Master then starts his lesson. Elena asks Masterji to allow them to have introduced to each other since that was the first day who gives her permission. She asks Sandhya to introduce herself to others who stands up and says she is Sandhya Rathi from Pushkar. The guy eating channa exclaims “Pappu is also from Pushkar.” Pappu says that they had a lengthy introduction already. The guy eating channa introduces himself as Samir and offers her channa and speaks something to her by which we can assume he is a butcher. The guy doing pooja is introduced as ____ (forgot his name) and he is very proud that he is the topper in the class. All introduce each other and Master starts his class. The mystery guy enters the college in his bike. In the classroom, Elena scares everyone saying she heard the same bike sound and seems that guy is coming again. All start speaking and scaring Sandhya that that person is a goonda and he does not allow the classes to be held. Sandhya asks why they have not complained in police and they say numerous complaints have been filed and he is too powerful. They also tell that he had beaten the topper guy so badly that now he limps which he denies. Sandhya questions the Masterji why he is doing so and who reports that the mystery guy is interested in converting this college into a 5-star hotel and he is very politically powerful too. Masterji says now he won’t tolerate this, he will not give up his 40 years of educational service and face him and takes his stick and steps ahead and falls down on the ground. Sandhya is in josh and she makes the masterji sit on the chair, takes the stick and goes out claiming she will not allow this to happen.

Sandhya comes out of the classroon and meets the mystery guy who comes by swirling his keychain. She catches it and warns him not to trouble the college people, in India everyone has equal rights to do what they want to do. He seems to be very polite and asks her to allow him to go to the class. Sandhya does not and he again tells her that she has misunderstood him and then escapes from her to enter the class. Sandhya goes behind him and catches his shirt as he enters the classroom. Seeing this person, the old man masterji runs to his place and all stand up and wish him good evening sir. Sandhya is shocked to see all this. The mystery guy turns out to be the real professor and he scolds the students for not maintaining discipline and especially, the old man as he did not expect this from him. Sandhya is very much shocked, then asks sorry from the professor who is still angry on her. He mocks her saying she has good knowledge of law and seems to be smart and does not fit to this small night college and asks her to go out of the class. Sandhya is teary thinking what will she answer Suraj. She is slowly going out and professor stops her and asks her to take her bag. Sandhya takes her bag and is going out slowly again. The professor stops her again and tells her to sit in the class. Sandhya is pleasantly surprised and the professor says to all the students that they all had good fun and he too wanted to join them and asks the old man whether he did the right thing. Sandhya sits in her place and the class starts.

Suraj is worried about Sandhya and Bhabho starts speaking about the gossips in the temple about chain snatching and safety of women. She scares him saying ladies should not go out alone, particularly in the night and should always go out with menfolk. Suraj looks for opportunity and once Bhabho is not around, he calls up Sandhya.

Phone rings while Sandhya is in the class. The professor warns her for the disturbance. The phone again rings and the professor asks her to go out and attend the call. Sandhya goes out and attends the call. Suraj is relieved and asks about her safety and has she reached college safely, how is her first day in the college. Sandhya says everything is fine and as the class is going on, she will speak to him later. Suraj keeps the phone and Bhabho calls him.

Precap: Bhabho wants something from SurYa room to decorate the sweet made by them. Suraj is tense and speechless. Bhabho says she won’t switch on the light and disturb Sandhya’s sleep. Also, she knows every nook and corner of the house well and goes to SurYa room.
