Veera 26th November 2012 Written Update

Ranvi sits in a storeroom with Veera to fulfill the promise made to Ratan. Bell rings as school ends for the day and he leaves. Ranvi sleeping in a cot and Veera is lying by his side. Ratan removes his shoes and makes him comfortable. Its next day and same thing happens. Ratan notices Ranvi playing with something. Actually he is making a telephone like devise with matchbox that can be used to hear what the person is saying at the other end.

At school, the next day Balbir is helping Ranvi to listen using devise. He couldn’t hear so asks Balbir to hold it properly. Ratan is working on fields. An old man asks her to stop. He explains her how to plow else all her work might go in vain. Ratan feels bad and says she is new so didn’t know how to do it in the right way. The man blesses that her effort wont go waste. He asks her to be confident and encourages her.

Its yet another day at school. Veera cries aloud. Ranvi doesn’t know what to do and tries to feed milk. Peon sees them. Ranvi asks peon to allow him sit at school until the school bell rings. Peon brings out Ranvi and asks him to leave Veera at home and attend school regularly. Ranvi pleads but he doesn’t allow. Just then bell rings. Ranvi is happy that he didn’t break Ratan’s promise and leaves.

Ratan is waiting for Ranvi outside the school. The teacher complains to her that Ranvi hadn’t come to school for the past two three days. She tells everything in silent. Teacher feels that Ranvi’s future will be in dark if he is with Veera all the time. She advises Ratan to take care of Veera and send Ranvi to school.

Ranvi’s friends are playing with Veera. A kid who gave him rakhi says that he will give back the bottle caps if he allows him to play with Veera. Ranvi refuses and says that Veera is not a thing that can be exchanged with bottle caps. He claims that Veera is his sister. The kids continue playing. Baldev is watching this with envy. Gunjan says that they can go home as no one is seeing them. Baldev calls Ranvi as Veera’s servant who feed s her and cleans. Ranvi asks him to take care of his sister who has a running nose. Baldev says that Gunjan understands everything and she can take care of herself. Hearing this Gunjan is upset and cleans her nose herself. Balbir asks Baldev to leave everything but he shuts Balbir’s mouth. Baldev comes to touch Veera and pinch her so that he can prove that sisters are cry babies. Ranvi asks him to stay away . Baldev pushes Ranvi and they fight. Ranvi throws sand on Baldev. Actually hit with stone and Baldev is bleeding. Ranvi says that he politely asked him not to meddle with Veera so God punished him. He takes Veera and leaves. While leaving he says sorry and requests him not to touch Veera.

Ranvi is talking to God. He asks for forgiveness from God as he didn’t mean to hurt Baldev intentionally. Ranvi also want God to say Baldev not to touch Veera. Ratan is searching for Ranvi and then comes home. She asks him to say the truth. Ranvi says that he didn’t break the promise he made and attended the school. Ratan says that she met his teacher who said that he didn’t attend the school. Ranvi accepts the truth that he didn’t attend the class but went to school. He says that he cannot leave Veera at home as there is no one to look after her. Ranvi is explaining Ratan that he will be Veera’s mother as Ratan works in place of father. He wishes to do it until Sampooran comes back.

Tayiji comes there with Baldev. She complains to Ratan about Ranvi throwing a stone on Baldev. Ratan asks Ranvi whether he did it. Ranvi says that it was Baldev who started first and he attempted to pinch Veera to make her cry. He narrates as it happened. Ranvi accepts that he threw sand but it had stone. Tayiji says Veera is not a rajkumari that Ranvi should be protecting. Ranvi replies to her saying that similarly Baldev is not a rajkumar whom she cannot scold. Tayiji steps forward to beat Ranvi. Ratan stops her. She supports Ranvi and says its not Ranvi who started to trouble and how can he think of hurting a small kid. Tayiji asks whether she has started to accept Sampooran’s sin. Ratan says its not about paap puniya but its about good and bad. She says she wont allow her to touch her son Ranvi. Tayiji says she feels bad for Ranvi as he is guarding Veera all the time and not doing anything else. She asks Ratan to get the situation of the house right else matter may go worse as Sampooran had already left them.

Ratan is warning Ranvi. She asks him to go to school and attend the class. Ranvi asks Ratan not to address Veera as ‘woh’ and is adamant that he will not to go to school until his father returns. Ratan slaps him in anger. Chaiji is watching all these.
