Winners of India’s Got Talent in conversation with us!
The extremely talented ‘Bavish Kids’ a.k.a Sumanth and Shonali under the mentorship of Bivash Choudhary, the winners of India’s Got Talent season 4 in a conversation with us…
Sumanth aged 13years and Shonali aged 7years are extremely talented kids. At a very young age they have made a huge mark in this industry, where people actually take years and years to reach this far. Shonali who belongs to a very small village did not have electricity at her home, she used to learn the art of dance by watching TV at her friend’s place right from the age of 4 years. In fact she did not know how to speak Hindi and began to learn the language when she came to Mumbai. This truly indicates that they had in them to win it in all aspects of life. By making it so far they’ve not only made their loved ones happy but also their mentor Bivash Choudhary.
Let’s have a look at what have they to say…
How is the feeling on winning India’s Got Talent ?
Sumanth:I am feeling very nice on winning IGT. It is like a dream come true for me and Shonali. We both have worked very hard and our hard work finally bore its fruit.
Shonali: I can’t express my happiness on winning India’s Got Talent. I’m honestly short of words. Extremely overwhelmed by the terrific applause from the people. It was fun meeting SRK, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the Finale episode.
Which has been your best performance till date on IGT?
It was the pre-finale dance act which we performed on the song ‘Rock the dance floor’ from the movie ‘Race’.
What have you’ll to say about your mentor Bivash Choudhary?
Undoubtedly, the trophy goes to him. Its the hard work he put behind us, that has payed well. We have reached the winning point only because of him. Sir’s innovation and creativity in each dance act has been amazing and also appreciated all over the country and world now. We owe it all to him[a smile of joy]
Which were the other finalists that you were scared about?
Has to be Mukesh/Tanya. Their aerial acts were mind blowing. At times we would think that they might win.
The judge you like the most on the show?
Sumanth: I like all of them but Karan Johar sir a bit more. He encourages us a lot and also he calls us ‘Dance ke Bhagwan’. These words mean a lot for us.
Shonali: I like Kirron Kher very much. She is a very sweet and loving lady.
Which are the dance forms that you enjoy the most?
We love Salsa very much. It is a fun loving dance style where you can enjoy.
What do you aspire to become when you grow old?
Sumanth: I want to become a world famous dancer. I want to make my India famous all over the world.
Shonali: I want to be a dancer like Madhuri Dixit and also portray all the expressions as well as she does.
The kids wanted to thank a whole lot of people to without whom this victory wouldn’t be possible…Here’s what they said.
Sumanth: My family members, relatives, teachers, mates and the entire Bhuvaneshwar has supported me a lot with their love and votes. They make me feel proud.
Shonali: I owe it all to my parents, teachers, relative, friends and my village. I hope I have made them proud. I am very happy that I have won.
We wish Bivash Kids a hearty congratulations on winning India’s Got Talent.
