Khamoshiyan 19th November 2012 Written Update

A world that Gauri had dreamt to be a part since her childhood… A world that connected her to people who had blood ties but their intentions for her were unknown… Gauri’s honesty that she had come to meet the extended family for the sole purpose to invite them for the wedding calms everyone’s frayed nerves…

Appa Sahib and Guruma give her a convincing reason of keeping their distance,the celestial charts were unfavorable for them to reside together… Gauri’s questions and doubts that had cropped up on seeing the disconnect of the reality and the image that was given to her are laid to rest. Her faith and immense trust in the man called Appa Sahib doesnot let her think that he had told her anything but the truth… His assurance of loving remembrance of the girl each day further endears the mysterious family elder to her…

As Gauri retires for the night in her room… Appa Sahib’s face hardens with anger at having to be sweet to Gauri for whom he has a dislike.. The complex and ruthless man makes his chilling presence felt…

Guruma and Appa retire to have a private conversation which Gayatri wants to join but is stopped by Aai Saheb… Guruma advises him to keep a close watch on Gauri so that she doesnot learn of the mysterious past which they are trying to hide.. Appa Sahib informs confidently,he will not let his painstaking work of 20yrs go waste due to the childishness of a naive girl as Aai Sahib looks on…

The younger generation is annoyed at Appa’s orders to stay put at home.. their angry discussion on the matter is overheard by Appa’s son who tells them to spare a kind though for their cousin who has traversed a long distance to be with them and they can certainly spare a weekend of their life for her…

The cousins decide to get familiar with Gauri tai and take the first step to break the ice…

Appa calls up his other son Pratap and gives him a piece of his mind on the subject and directs him to call Gauri back at the earliest..

Pratap and Ashwini are aghast on learning Gauri’s entry into the Bhosle household in Kolhapur.. They are deeply grieved by her decision and question where as parents did they lag behind..which their daughter to take this drastic step in her life…As parents the fear haunts their heart and mind that Gauri would never come back to them if she came to know of the real truth…

Sid calls up Gauri to enquire of her well being and hears the perplexing truth about the Bhosle’s of Kolhapur.. Gauri tells him she wants to return back to her mom,dad and him the very next day..Her unhappiness in deceiving her parents is plainly evident…

Gauri’s conversation with her parents too mirrors their hurt at her sudden departure to India… They ask her to return back at the earliest cutting short her comment on the difference about life in Kolhapur that she had imagined and witnessed…

Sid and Gauri’s parents wisely break it to the guy that his decision to send Gauri to India without informing them could have had serious repercussions.. Sid defends his decision stating that Gauri had always mentioned her inexplicable draw to India and he was helping her to get answers to it…

On hearing this Pratap cleverly puts his point across without giving away the real reason of his worry ..he tells Sid that in India traditions a girl landing up announced to invite her relations for her wedding might not be seen in good light as marriage is considered a joining of two families and not just two people…

In the midst of the after effects that the Bhonsle family face in Kolhapur and UK ..Appa Sahib’s sister prays to the Almighty to show her a way in which she could inform Gauri of the truth of an injustice that had happened 20 yrs ago…
