Barun Sobti to take a break from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon
The actor will return to his daily soap after a break
There have been numerous rumors making rounds in the media about Barun Sobti’s exit from Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?. It was speculated that Viraf Phiroz Patel would be taking his place in the show. Fans of the actor had written countless petitions to stop this replacement too.
In order to clear the air we spoke to Barun who clarified, “I am not leaving the show, but I am taking a well deserved break. I don’t know the length of the break, but it won’t be a small one.I just need a break”.
We asked him whether 23rd November would be the last date of shoot, ” Nothing has been finalized, things are still being worked out”.
This piece of news would surely be a big relief for many fans of Barun.

November 08, 22:10Oh MY GOD!!!!!! just OH MY GOD!!!!!! i’m just sooo really very happy that i can’t even express it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday at this time after reading the article about him about to quit the show, i was literally crying!! i was sooo sad! right now, about the whole break thing it was still unexpected but it is a lot better than him leaving the show. i just hope that ipkknd won’t have another big long kidnaping sequense again, but whatever it is i am just relieved to know that he will be back and that there will be no replacement of him becuase we love him waaayyyy tooo much to have that happen!!!
And GOOOO IPKKND FANS!!!!! i am soo proud of the fans that sent soo many petetions to the channel that it changed their plan of what to do with the show!!!
Also, India forums is probably responsible for all the fans petetions so i’m really happy to be part of it!!!!!
