Karan Tacker talks about Krystle, Yashashri, love, life and more…
Karan Tacker, who essays the role of Viren in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus, is overwhelmed with the response that his show produced by Cinevistaas has amassed with every passing episode.
In a conversation with us, Karan Tacker, the mama’s boy, talks about his life, relationship status and about his good friend, Krystle Dsouza.
Karan who is good friends with co-star Krystle Dsouza shares his green room with her, with only a divider separating the common room. They get to spend their free time together, in which they usually watch movies. He says, “We make it a point to watch one of the Hollywood series together. Currently we are watching Two and a Half Men. Otherwise, we sit together and watch all our interviews.”
On probing further, Karan says, “Yes, I watch my interviews because I talk a lot of crap at times. I watch them with a hope that I can control myself the next time I open my mouth. However, I simply cannot stop it as I am on-the-face person. If I like a person I will show and if I don’t like, that too will show.”
Is that why we heard about you disliking your Rang Badalti Odhani co-star Yashashri Masurkar? “I might sound rude or arrogant, but I do not come here to make friends. I am in the industry to work. But I never had issues with Yashashri; we are still on each other’s BBM and I recently met her at a party. She has lost a lot of weight and has gotten a new haircut. She looked simply stunning.”
On his equation with co-star Kushal Tandon, Karan opines, “I would say it is cordial. I am basically a loner and I like my space. While I am on the sets I talk to people and then get back home. So it is not about me being friends with any particular person. I have very few friends and this is how I am.”
Ask him about being the mama’s boy and he avers, “Yes, I am a mama’s boy. My mother cooks from her heart; she makes parathas which are to die for.”
Lastly, on his relationship status, Karan says, “I am single. In the age in which I am, one cannot have concrete relationships. Plus when you are in a relationship, it is about two people and one cannot go ahead and simply speak.”
Karan,that was well said!!!
