Diya Aur Baati Hum 2nd November 2012 Written Update

Meena confused as there were three pooja thalis (plates) and is wondering. Vikram sees her and she smiles. Vikram reads a news in the paper as thieves caught by CCTV camera and wishes he had one to spy Meena. Bhabhasa sees Meena and signals what. Just then, Bhabho returns from kitchen. She taunts Meena for not gone yet as she was so excited to run to the temple a few minutes before. Meena says her eyesight is defective as she is seeing three pooja plates and is confused which is hers. Bhabho tells her to take any one, what is the difference and leaves. Meena checks all the three coconuts and identifies her money-hidden coconut. Bhabho calls her to wait for Sandhya who is going to Chavvi’s college and will drop her in the rikshaw. Meena curses her fate.

Sandhya comes to Bhabho and tells she is not getting the documents. Bhabho asks her to call Chavvi. Sandhya tells she had already called and Chavvi is not remembering well. Bhabho understands Chavvi’s intention and tells Sandhya to call her. Meena uses this opportunity and asks whether she can leave for the temple and Bhabho tells her to run. Sandhya calls Chavvi’s mobile who cuts her call. Sandhya tries again and Chavvi switches off her mobile. Bhabho asks Sandhya to call Suraj. Stakes the receiver from Sandhya and asks Suraj to call Chavvi angrily. Suraj sensing the tension asks her what is the problem and Bhabho reveals everything that today is the last day for final year admission and Chavvi has misplaced her certificates and they are not getting it. Suraj is shocked to hear this. Bhabho blames herself in mind as why did she tell this to Suraj. Sandhya is also shocked. Suraj tells he will inform Chavvi but Bhabho is adamant on speaking to Chavvi herself. Suraj gives his phone to Chavvi and she attends the call. Bhabho scolds her and Chavvi first acts innocent saying the certificates are in her room and Sandhya might not have searched them properly. Bhabho scolds her she knows her intention and to remember where she had kept. With no option, Chavvi tells her that she remembers now that the certificates are in the Xerox shop. She hands over the phone to Suraj muttering Bhabho has spoilt her mood. Bhabho tells Sandhya about it and she tells she will collect it and go to Chavvi’s college.

Suraj is confused what to do now as it is the last date and if he missed the opportunity, he have to wait for another year. He remembers Ankur and calls him but Ankur’s number remains unavailable. Suraj is tense and prays to God to show him some way. Just then, his kaka and kaki return from darga. They say the crowd was less and they offered prayers and returned soon. They give Suraj’s prasad to him. They see Suraj is tense and ask the reason. Suraj says he suddenly remembered he had an important work and he will be back within 3-4 hours and asks them whether they would care for Chavvi during that time. They agree and Suraj also goes to inform Chavvi’s in-laws about it.

Meena in the vaidyarani’s clinic. Vaidyarani and her assistant try to ignore Meena and call others. Meena tells them it is her turn and she has been waiting for long. After some drama, they finally give her a box of medicine which they say contains gold and silver and will work only if Meena believes them wholeheartedly. Meena gives the money to the assistant and takes the medicine. She opens one packet from it and sees it is something black in color. The assistant says they have burnt gold so it is become black. Meena swallows it saying it is not tasting good. Before she could speak anything, vaidyarani says now she has to do mounvrath (keep silence) till 7 p.m., else the medicine will not work. Meena is shocked how she will do that and leaves from there. The assistant hands over the money to Vaidyarani.

Bhabho is restless as to why she informed Suraj and spoilt her own plan. She thinks of calling Suraj and know what he is doing but then stops. Bhabhasa observes this and confronts her about whether for this reason only she stopped Mohit and sent Suraj with Chavvi and why she is cheating her own son. Bhabho denies it in vain. Bhabhasa asks whether she is afraid of what Suraj is going to do now. Bhabho tells him she has full confidence that her son won’t go against her wish and do something that would hurt her and also Sandhya herself has told him she does not want to study and also Suraj is not irresponsible to leave Chavvi in her in-law’s place and go to get the college admission for Sandhya.

In Ajmer, Suraj is coming running and tries to stop a running jeep by hand signal which the driver does not stop as it is already full of people. Suraj runs behind it and climbs the running jeep and traveling standing outside the jeep. People sitting inside ask him what is the hurry as there is a jeep to Pushkar every 15-20 minutes. Suraj says if he does not reach Pushkar soon, he would miss to fulfill the biggest responsibility of his life. After some time, the jeep stops and the driver tells it will take 20-25 minutes to change the tire. Suraj is restless. He tries to call Ankur again but seems like his mobile battery is low and switched off. One of the passenger tell him not to worry as they would be a jeep to Pushkar every 15-20 minutes.

Precap: Suraj tries to stop a bike asking for lift. The bike goes past him some distance and then returns back. The person driving the bike identifies Suraj as WTC winner.
