We got in touch with producer Saurabh Tewari, Nautanki Telefilms to know more on the feeling amongst the unit, “We were indeed delighted when we got to know that Madhubala won the award for the Favorite New TV Show. And to be rewarded at an awards night which is said to be the first fully democratic awards wherein voting happens online is memorable in itself. Madhubala is very popular when it comes to the online websites and the credit for the award goes to the viewers who voted for us online. A special thanks to the readers of us who voted for Madhubala.”

Talking about the USP of the show that lines Madhubala as a unique project, Saurabh told us, “There are two ways of storytelling. One is the youth centric way and the other is where we adhere to the traditional way wherein we show kitchen politics with safe drama. Madhubala shows a right blending of both; amidst the lead pair’s chemistry the perfect family drama as backdrop is shown.”

When asked him about the next major high-point in the story line, he stated, “After the Ganpati track, we now head to the next major high-point in tomorrow’s (30 October) episode wherein RK will get to know that Shamsher was the one who attempted to kill him. This will create lots of chaos in both Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK’s (Vivian Dsena) life.”
