Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain 23rd October 2012 Written Update

Episode begins with Viren on the phone with Madan who is taken aback by Viren’s words regarding the property. The phone falls from his hands and he goes numb while Viren keeps calling out until Chachi comes and lies to Viren that Madan has suffered a minor heat stroke and will call him back later on. Viren has no hurry and asks Madan to take care. Jeevika, on the other hand is with Swamini Bua at the shopping mall selecting outfits for their guests. While chosing from the collections, Swamini notices someone walking across, towards the mall. She leaves the clothes and rushed behind him; asking Jeevika to finish the shopping alone. However by the time she reaches there, she sees no one. Suddenly someone taps her on the shoulder, and no, it’s not the mysterious guy, it’s Jeevika. Swamini drags Jeevika out and the mysterious man appears, looking at them (we just see his back). After returning back home, Jeevika calls up Viren and informs him about Swamini’s recently changed attitude. Viren in return gets mad at Jeevika for ponpoiting his Badi Maa. He then informs her about Madan Chachu’s ill health and also apologizes for being rude before hanging up. Jeevika quickly calls up Beeji and inquires if everything is alright. Beeji agrees and Jeevika retorts about Madan’s health but Beeji says he is fine. Jeevika then informs Beeji about them coming over to Hrishikesh for Manvi’s paghphere but Beeji gives an excuse about visiting her maasi in Ahmedabad. Thus asking them not to come any time soon. Jeevika agrees but is surprised because Beeji was always particular about rituals. Here, Swamini quickly informs her father about the return of “that” man and wonders what he wants. Both are worried.

Maanvi has prepared some delicious curry for dinner, but she notices that Dadaji doesn’t eat well and goes off while Swamini Bua hardly takes a bite. Jeevika notices Swamini’s tense expressions. After everyone leaves, Manvi cries that her food wasn’t good although Virat keeps telling her that the food was awesome. He explains that Vanshika and Jeevika were fasting while the rest may have been lost in their own thoughts and hence forgot to appreciate her efforts. Manvi is sad at first but then gets happy when she realizes that Virat truly loved her food and was gobbling every bit of it. She stares at him in a cute manner.

Back in Hrishikesh, Madan informs everyone that their house was to be auctioned the following day at 2PM. Chaudhary’s are taken aback.
