Akshay Dogra who played Akash Singh Raizada in the popular show has decided to bid adieu to his character….
Fans of the popular show Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star Plus have been stunned once again by a popular star leaving the show- Akshay Dogra who played amiable Akash Singh Raizada has decided to quit the show.
Akash Singh Raizada’s character had been dealing with stagnancy for some time and was hampering the acting potential of Akshay Dogra. Our source from the set informs us that Akshay has quit the show and is serving his notice period till this month end.
We trying getting in touch with Akshay but he remained unavailable for any comments. It will be interesting to see if the production house replaces the character or just like Mamaji’s character it fades into the oblivion!

October 21, 00:10to be fair to Akshay, his role is stagnant – whether he is there in an episode or not really does not make a difference. Similar to Payal whose character I think is now not relevant. Even characters like buaji and Garima and Khushi’s father have suddenly disappeared . and now that irritating kid has come on set … oh could this get any worse – I think not
