Pratigya 16th October 2012 Written Update

TN : Contd with yest scene.. P wants to go to Pandit’s house and meet the lady.. K refuses says that road is too rough, yr pregnant not good for you.. P says this issue given me mental tension, and that too is not good for me.. just once I want to go and see her.. K finally agrees and tells her that she will take good care.. P agrees.. K says after this, no more requests to go anywhere.. P agrees.. they leave.. GD wonders where K and P have gone.. Ksr says even she knows nothing about it.. GD tells Ksr not to worry about KN.. Ksr says he beat me up badly, without any thought to my feelings… GD says he is always like that, no point in thinking about it, think about good things.. Ksr says what’s the point.. even when I try to do good to others, I get beaten up.. GD consoles her and says life is always difficult for people who try to do good.. see K and P.. how much they have struggled.. but even then K fights with SS and others if any wrong is done.. K has inner peace… but for KN there’s no inner peace.. just then KN comes down from terrace.. GD asks what you doing up there in this heat.. KN retorts saying now I have to ask yr permission to go about in my own house…

Village : K and P searching for Pandit’s house.. some ppl guide them.. reach the house and K bangs on the door.. small boy opens the door and K P say that they want to meet the Panditayin.. boy says mom is out.. P requests him whether they can wait for her inside… boy agrees.. they go inside..

TN : SS and Smr playing hide and seek in the hall.. SS hides behind pillar but Smr spots him.. says its your turn .. tells SS to close his eyes and starting counting… SS complies.. Smr looking around for place to hide… finally he climbs the stairs to the terrace.. KN is out in the compound pacing… looking up at terrace occasionally smiling in anticipation… tells himself that soon P will come to collect her clothes and fall thru the hole and die.. all our family problems will be solved.. suddenly looks up and stunned to see Smr approaching the spot.. Smr heads for the sari and tries to hide beneath it… KN yells at him to stop and rushes up the outside staircase, but too late.. Smr falls thru the hole in the terrace floor.. grabs the railing but its slippery due to the oil.. fall down and hits his head.. KN gives out a cry.. all others rush out.. Smr bleeding from head.. unconsicous.. KN trying to wake him.. all shocked .. Ksr crying.. SS asks how this happened.. KN rushes to the jeep carrying samar.. others follow..

Village : Amma enters the room and removes her pallu.. calls out to the kids and says she brought halwa-puri for them.. K and P take a good look at her and are shocked.. Amma to stunned to see them.. quickly covers her face again and informs them that Pandit is not at home and if they have any work, they can come later.. K looking in tears.. goes up to her and calls her Amma.. Amma says if you want to get yr mother treated, then this is not the place for it.. Panditji does only pooja.. he does not practise black magic.. K tries hold her arms says you are my Amma, but she backs away.. asks him angrily what you doing.. Pandit returns home.. perturbed.. Amma complains to him and says this strange man saying I’m his amma.. Pandit shocked.. says this is my wife and mother of my kids.. not your amma.. both K and P insist that she is their amma.. Pandit angry, tries to shove K outside.. K too angry says its my mother and I will not leave without her..

Hospital : KN rushes in with samar.. looking frantic.. tells doc that he had a fall and become unconsicous.. doc takes smr away.. KN mutters to himself that he did not mean for smr to fall down.. the trap was meant for someone else.. SS overhears and shouts at him, asks KN what he has done and for whom.. KN relates everything.. says I covered up the hole in the terrace with P’s sari.. wanted P to fall thru and die.. it was my revenge for Kml-Krthk marriage.. SS super angry, pushes KN away.. KN stands in one corner… Ksr goes up to him and slaps him hard.. says all these years I lived with you for Smr’s sake.. but now bec of you he is injured.. I will never forgive you for this.. you will never come near my smr again.. shouts at him to get out..

Village : P tells K to calm down, requests Pandit that she want to speak to amma… goes up to her and asks amma why you doing this.. why you not willing to recognise your own son Krishna.. says I’m Pratigya, your younger DIL… Amma interupts her and tells P to stop her nonsense.. tells them to get out… Pandit too angry tells them to get out.. KP leave the house.. all other villagers gather round and on hearing the story, the support the Pandit.. K and villagers quarrel.. P sees the matter getting out of hand.. tells K that we should leave now.. K adamant, says will not leave without my amma… P cautions him to deal with a cool head, and says they will come back again…
