Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 8th October 2012 Written Update

Khushi assures Nidhi that she will not do anything wrong so she need not get tensed. Nidhi seems displeased that Khushi is watching TV again but finally has to smile at her tactics, she gives her number to Khushi just in case.
In the hospital, RN shares his problems with Anji with Ashu. Ashu explains a woman’s psychology to RN that they punish not their husbands but themsevles so that their husbands feel guilty. Nidhi comes and when filled in, takes Anji’s side Nidhi asks RN to keep himself in Anji’s place and then take a decision.
Ashu doesn’t seem comfortable with the idea of Khushi being alone at home but can’t seem to come up with a better solution.
Meanwhile, Khushi is getting bored at home. She sees some kids playing outside and is tempted to join them but remembers Nidhi’s instructions about being at home and drops the idea. She calls Nidhi up. Nidhi, who is busy with a patient, is definitely not too pleased at being disturbed at work but Khushi keeps calling her. Nidhi explains to Khushi that she and Ashu are doctors who need to pay attention to their patients. She needs to go for a meeting and hangs up. Khushi is upset at the lack of time given to her. Nidhi is briefing the interns when Khushi calls her up again (Oh God, what an irritating kid!) but Nidhi is forced to hang up.
Ashu walks in Nidhi’s cabin to inform Nidhi that he is heading home. Nidhi says she will take more time and assures him that she has taken all the precautions with Khushi. Later, Nidhi sees 2 missed calls by Khushi and calls her up but gets no answer. This tenses Nidhi up.
Meanwhile, at home, Khushi is locked up and there is smoke all around. The police and firemen have already arrived when Ashu reaches home. Everyone starts to search for Khushi, panicking. She is locked in the bathroom. They have to break the door to get Khushi out, who hugs Ashu tightly because she got so freaked out. Khushi explains how the short circuit happened and how she got locked in the washroom. She tried calling Nidhi but she didn’t pick upp the call so she called up the police and firebrigade. The police who is clearly impressed by her presence of mind asks her how she knows all these numbers. At this, Khushi gets a little pensive and says she doesn’t know.
Ashu wonders how the short circuit occured and the police tells him that someone left the iron on. They also haven’t found out anything about her parents so she might have to stay here for a long time. Khushi confesses that she had switched on the iron to press her clothes since she was getting bored. Ashu tells her that she shouldn’t do it next time.
Baba reaches home later and is panicked to know about what happened earlier from the neighbours. Ashu and Khushi are playing a game and Ashu explains the situation to Baba who is also impressed by Khushi. They all seem to be having a lot of fun.
At night, Nidhi reaches home and Ashu tells her too about the shortcircuit. This upsets Nidhi too and blames herself for putting her phone on silent. But Ashu assures her that it is not her fault, they just need to be more responsible. Ashu suggests they should take offs alternately till Khushi is in the house. Nidhi is obviously not too approving of this but wants to meet Khushi anyway.
Khushi is busy drawing when Nidhi comes to her and apologises. Khushi cutely says it was her fault too. Nidhi sees Khushi drawing her house and her mother but she doesn’t remember anything.

Precap: Khushi tells Ashu that he is scared of being a child and she is scared of growing up. Ashu asks her why she is scared of growing up. But instead of answering him, she shouts ‘Papa’ and runs to a policeman on a bike much to Ashu’s astonishment.
