Nakuul Mehta and Drashti Dhami are BFFs

In today’s times when our TV actors are so busy that they hardly get time to meet each other, the equation between Nakuul Mehta and Drashti Dhami is that of a very sweet one. Nakuul, who plays Aditya in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (Star Plus) shared with us, “I have known Drashti long before I entered the TV space (he was doing films before). She is a very sweet girl and has no airs at all. She is such a popular small screen face (currently seen in Colors’ Madhubala) yet she is so grounded when she meets her friends and fans alike. ”

You recently went ahead to tweet something about “food” and “Drashti”. “Yes, her mom makes the best Gujarati delicacies including khakra and cakes. Normally I don’t carry such grub to set as I am very diet conscious. But whenever I am very hungry and want to eat something mouth-watering, I just drop in at Drashti’s Madhubala set which is very close Pyaar Ka Dard’s. I reach and ask dabbe mein kya hai?” laughed the actor.

So with which other small screen actor he is close with? “Apart from Drashti and Raj Singh Arora, I don’t have any other TV buddies. The work schedules are so tough that I don’t even get time to meet my non-industry friends. Yet the close ones are so sweet that some of them make it a point to drop at my set at least once a month.”

He is also quite thankful to technology…for he keeps getting in touch with people via Skype, Facebook and Emails. “I can also keep in touch with my school and colleges mates who live in all corners of the globe,” concluded Nakuul.
