Uttaran 5th October 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Meethi climbing the steps on the temple and grumbling about being called to the temple in such heat.
She’s looking for him and sees someone giving food to the poor.
She calls him but Vishnu doesn’t respond.
She goes up to him and is shocked to see him in the temple servant getup.
He asks her to take her slippers off outside the temple and asks if she’s hungry and wants food? lol
She refuses and asks for her phone back.
He ignores her and keeps talking to the people he’s serving food…
Meethi gets agitated.
He asks her to take the slippers off… she does it and again asks for her phone back.
He asks her to help me, she refuses… he again ignores her and starts serving food.
They keep bickering when Vishnu asks for help in serving the daal… the people eating food ask for daal from Meethi and she reluctantly starts helping them… Vishnu smiles.
Meethi helps him with the serving of the food.
The people who’ve been eating leave the temple and give her lots of prayers.
Meethi’s extremely tired and yells at him to give the phone back.
He says the process is not finished yet. We have to take the food inside the temple, then it will be finished.
Meethi gets angry and says, keep the phone thinking of it as the prasad. I don’t want it.
Vishnu says, who can refuse the prasad?
She leaves the temple very angry. Vishnu is smiling.

Yuvi at home… Gunwanti tells her I called you so many times last night… but you weren’t free.
He says, dadi I have a very bad headache.
Gunwanti says, if you drink all night – what else will you have?
Yuvi doesn’t say anything and looks sheepish.
She says, at least you have that much same in you.
Gunwanti sits next to him on the sofa and he puts his head on her lap… says, I can’t say anything in front of you. Sorry, please forgive me. Now tell me why were you calling me again and again?
Gunwanti says, to tell you that I have closed Mukta’s mouth.
Yuvi gets up… he’s shocked… how did you do it?
Gunwanti says, your dadi can do anything.
She gives him the same newspaper and asks him to read it.
Gunwanti tells him all about it while flashback plays of Mukta reading it.
Yuvi says, Dadi you took the number of the printing press person, but I didn’t know you wanted it for this. Dadi you’re the best, I love you. Now that Mukta Rathore will find out who is Yuvraj Singh Bundela.
Gunwanti says, Mukta Rathore won’t have the courage to climb the steps of the court. Yuvi says right.

Jogi telling Kanha I had named all my property to Mukta. They come down the steps and see everyone sitting on the table. Jogi smiles and says it looks so lovely to see everyone together.
He jokes around at the table… saying you can’t cook as well as Vishnu. You’re looking at recipes and books… you can ask me what you want to cook, I will tell you.
Divya laughs and says can you tell us how to make Fruit Cream Cake?
Jogi says why are you making a cake? Divya says you don’t remember it’s Mukta’s birthday?
Jogi says, how can I froget it. Damini says, she likes this cake.
Jogi starts leaving… Meethi comes and says I want to talk to you Anni.
She says, I need a new phone… Damini says, why?
Kanha just gave you a new phone.
Kanha remembers giving her the latest phone on Raksha bandhan.
Damini says, you said your phone was with a friend of yours?
Meethi says, she lost it…
Damini says, Meethi how can she lose it?
It’s not possible for me to get another expensive phone right now.
Kanha asks her to use Surbhi’s phone… Surbhi gets a shock hearing this. Kanha says, she stays home most of the time.
Meethi says, I don’t want a used phone, I want a new one – bhayya please.
Damini says, Meethi, you lost a brand-new expensive phone and now you’re acting stubborn… ok if you want a new phone, we will have to see about it next month. Meethi doesn’t like it.
Nani comes and says, Meethi beta, I will get a new phone for you… it’s not a big deal.
Everyone gets shocked. Rohini mumbles, she hasn’t even given me a blouse piece ever… cut my sari and made a dress for her. Surbhi asks her if she’s saying something, Rohini says no. LOL
Meethi gets excited… Nani says, which phone do you want? I will get it for you. Meethi says, really? Thank you so much Nani, you’re so sweet.
Surbhi says, Bari Ma, let’s go to the kitchen, you can tell me what to do. Divya, Surbhi and Rohini leave the table.
Damini says, Mataji I told you to stay away from Meethi… again you…
Meethi cuts her off and says, why should she stay away from me?
Nani says, Damini, this is not our time… we didn’t have phones in our time. Today’s kids need a phone all the time. She acts all sweet and good.
Kanha asks Meethi to go to her room… Meethi says it’s not fair, but leaves.
Kanha says, Naniji, whether you take it as a request, an order or a warning… it will be better if you stay away from my sister Meethi.
Nani says, what did I do? I only wanted to get her a phone.
Kanha says, we’ve always given her better than what we could afford and we will do so in the future. We don’t need your help, your goodwill, your charity or gift… none of us need it. Do you understand?
Nani says, this is good… when you try to do something good, you’re hanged… when you do bad, you’re given stones… what should a person do? She leaves.
Damini says to Kanha, Mataji’s ‘goodness’ has more evil than evil itself… Meethi is getting further away from us every day…
Kanha says, ammo-nani, everyone has seen one side of Kanha… who gives a polite answer to every thing… but this Kanha has another side, which Naniji will see now.

Meethi doing her assignment. She gets stuck at a problem… she thinks, how can I do it? I didn’t even attend the lecture!
She thinks I will call one of my friends and ask for help, or I will fail in this assignment. Then she remembers she doesn’t have a phone.
She gets upset and thinks I will teach him a lesson right now!

Tej on a rocking chair in his room and thinking of Nani’s threat of calling Jogi Thakur outside.
Chanda knocks on his room. He says, come inside, where are you?
Chanda says, I’m here only… stuck in a corner in this house somewhere… you’re the one who doesn’t show his face.
These clothes, these colours…
Tej says, it’s all for you… pink colour, english lifestyle. Are you not happy? He hugs her and says, your pink cheeks suit my english suit.
They’re on bed… when Tej asks Chanda if Jogi Thakur is the same person – bride-swap and things like that.
Chanda says, yes, but why did you remember Tapasya so suddenly?
He says, because the girl lodging a case against Yuvi is Tapasya’s daughter. Chanda is surprised…
Tej pretend he doesn’t remember the name…
Chanda says.. Mukta Rathore.
What do you have to do with her? Why are you so interested in her suddenly?
Tej says, Yuvi loves me so much… I should look after him and try to save me… I am interested only in you…
He says, I’m thirsty, bring me something to drink.
Chanda leaves to get some drinks. She opens the door and sees Tej’s name on the door. She says, when will my name come on this door?
Tej says, your name is on the door to my heart, isn’t it enough?
She gives him a look and leaves.
He says, what should I tell you Chanda Rani… it’s better to taste fresh youth instead of stale stuff.

Meethi goes to the panditji in the temple and asks where that boy is who was giving prasad in the morning. Panditiji points her towards Vishnu and she asks him for the phone… he says, it’s time for Aarti. She says, give me my phone and then start aarti… but he starts it anyway. Meethi covers her head and joins in.

Mukta sitting in her room thinking of Gunwanti’s warnings about getting that article printed. She’s worried and crying.
She picks up the newspaper again thinks what should I do? Should I stay quiet? But I don’t trust them… today Yuvi’s dadi is blackmailing me, tomorrow Yuvi might do the same. What should I do? I should go to Icha Maa.
Jogi comes to her room with a piece of cake. She wipes away her tears and smiles at him. He asks her to eat the cake. She is happy that it’s her favourite. She tastes it and says it’s very tasty.
She asks who made it? Jogi says, everyone made it together.
She gives a piece of cake to Jogi too. Jogi says, my Mukku is smiling or hiding her tears?
She hugs him and cries. He says, when the kids grow up, they try to hide their grief from their elders… what do you think? I don’t know?
Tell your barey papa what’s the problem? What’s the fear you’re not telling me?
Mukta shows him the newspaper. He opens and reads the article.
He gets furious! Looks at Mukta.

Precap: Nani with Divya in the kitchen and says Tej Singh Bundela… Divya asks why are you remembering him? Nani says, Tappu said something else about him? Divya says, yes she said a lot of things… that’s he’s a very rude guy… does weird things. Always tries to take revenge and want his share… now Daddaji’s dead, he must be trying to get his share in the Bundela property. Nani thinks, but what does he have to do with Mukta?
