Has stardom got into the head of Pratyusha “Balika Vadhu” Banerjee?
Well…first our sources informed us that Pratyusha has opted out of the show in order to chase her Bollywood dreams. And later came reports of her throwing tantrums on the sets and giving a hard time to the crew of the show.
And our credible sources further went on to state that Pratyusha is continuing to act pricey on the floors of Balika Vadhu.
The actress, recently (30 September) had a gala time at the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa wrap up party. Good that she enjoyed but next morning (1 October) she turned up all groggy and grumpy on the sets of Balika. She even went away without shooting that day.
“She keeps unwell as she is very fragile and her late night parties don’t make things any simpler either,” the source went on to add.
Well… this is not something new for the team of Balika. Currently they are running out of a bank of episodes so Pratyusha’s ill health is affecting the smooth run of the show.
So what about her rumours of quitting the project? “She was supposed to leave but then she got a raise, so decided to hang on,” the source said. To clear the air we called up Pratyusha and even sent a text message…but she chose not to revert. Then, in order to add a layer of credibility to the article we even checked with producer Sunjoy Wadhwa and he did go on to give a quote.
“Well…I would like to state that Pratyusha was never going to leave the show and we haven’t given her a hike.”
Okay…go on… “We have a bank and yes, Pratyusha did go home yesterday (1 October) as she wasn’t well and anybody who is unwell gets to go home on our sets.” Tell him that his leading lady was busy parting a night before and he replied, “I cannot comment on that as I am not in Mumbai right now.”
So are they fine with her absence from the show every now and then?
“Pratyusha was unwell during the Jhalak phase too and the entire world knows about it. She does keep unwell and it’s genuine.”
