Behnein 26th November 2010 Written Update
Mihir asks how was her journey. She asks mihir how you are and why didn’t you come pick me up. He says that you were supposed to come tomorrow. She immediately says that you knew I was coming, you should have prepared long time ago. She asks gomti kaki to put her luggage in her room. She gets up and sees Smriti’s photo without the garland and calls Kamini and says that this is abshagun. She orders them to put a garland on Smriti’s photo. Everyone just stands there. Kamini asks Manik to bring a garland to be put on the photo. Everyone looks on. Manik gives the garland to Mihir (purva shakes here head) but Mihir goes ahead and puts it on Smriti’s photo. Purva has tears in her eyes. Poopat behen says that now everything will be okay. She looks up and sees Purva and asks Kamini who she is? Kamini says that this is Purva, Mihir’s wife and Smriti’s sister. Purva bends down for blessings; Poopat behen doesn’t bless her but instead starts talking to Kamini for a while. She asks Kamini why didn’t she invite her for Mihir’s wedding. Meanwhile Purva is confused as to why she is not blessing her. Purva tries getting up but Poopat behen slaps purva on the back and tells her that I’ve not blessed yet so keeps bowing down. Purva stays bent, while Poopat behen yells as to why Kamini didn’t invite her to the wedding and why did Purva, Smirit’s elder sister got married to Mihir. Why wasn’t Purva married before Smriti? Is there something wrong with her? Mihir meanwhile keeps on looking at Poopt behen and asks to give blessings to Purva, she finally blesses her and tells her to keep her pallu on her head when asking for blessings. She also tells Purva that from now on it is your duty to put the garland on dead person’s photo. Purva looks on.
Purva comes in her room, opens the drawer, and finds a picture of four sisters along with their parents and cries. Mihir enters the room and consoles Purva. He says that you might be feeling bad, but it is only for a few days and then it will be okay. She is good at heart, she is the eldest, we have to respect her. Purva says that yes I can understand that she is your fui ba and I’m supposed to respect. Mihir interrupts and says that it’s only a matter of few days and then everything will be back to normal. They both hug.
Poopat behen is in her room along with Kamini. She drinks the mango shake (I think). She tells Kamini that I’m just waiting for London visa and then I’ll go away from here. Manik enters and poopat behen yells that how dare she enter my room. She tells Kamini that you know that servants are not supposed to come in my room; they aren’t clean etc. Manik leaves the room sadly. Poopat behen continues telling kamini to keep an eye on manik and on purva also. She says that she needs to control Purva so that she gets respect from her. She says that why do I feel that this room is small. Kamini says this is your house you can stay wherever you want. Poopat behen orders Kamini to make jalebi and other food items and do not send it through the maid.
Akashi is writing on the blackboard. Rashmi asks who is this blackboard for. Akashi says this is for Shamar, I’m going to teach him. Shamar comes down and askashi asks are you going somewhere. He says yeah but if you say, I won’t go. She says yeah stay here. While she is walking towards him, he says she’s looking beautiful. She comes closer and gives him a pencil and tells him that from now on I’m going to educate you. He says no one has been able to teach me, how will you teach me? She turns around in anger and he says ok fine teach me. She starts out with A for Apple. She tells him to repeat. He says’A for Apiaa..(lol). He says I can’t do this. Akaashi walks towards Shamar and says that you need to think about your family. DO you like Gomti Kaki working at other people’s house? And you have to buy me some earrings as well. So you have to study in order to do all this. Shamar agrees. She again starts with A for Apple. After a while, Gomti kaki enters. Aakashi asks what’s wrong, she says poopat behen is here. She requests Akashi to keep her pallu on whenever she goes to Purva’s house. Aakahsi is confused.
Purva goes towards the storeroom and asks smriti to open the door. Purva enters the room with a cup of tea and cookies..Purva says that poopat behen came a day before. Purva is looking confused. Smriti says is there something wrong. Purva says she is elder and I should take care of her etc. (hmm sorry, didn’t really pay attention here) Smriti says that after their wedding, she came once and it felt like a jail. Purva changes the topic and says I feel so bad that you are living in your house hiding from your own people. Smriti says it’s not my house, it’s yours and it’s only a matter of few days. Smriti takes a sip of tea and says in her head that once poopat ba leaves, I’m going to leave you and mihir forever.
Precap: poopat behen is going upstairs to meet prem. Purva and Manik and looking from downstairs. Purva says what do I do, Prem is with Smriti. If she finds out she will know that Smriti is alive.
