Why is Kratika Sengar miffed with Gurmeet, Leena and the makers of Punar Vivah? Read on to find out.
People come, people go…but the show must go on.
Okay…we won’t enter “beating around the bush business” and get straight to the point. Follow the lead…
Since Gurmeet Choudhary is a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, he obviously has not been able to devote full time to his ongoing Zee TV show Punar Vivah. Gurmeet’s wife Debina Bonnerjee went on record to say that the production house of Punar Vivah (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd) helped him a lot to adjust his work schedule.
And we have learned that apparently this leeway has not gone down too well with co-star Kratika Sengar, who plays the role of Aarti in the show.
Our sources informed that Kratika is of the opinion that Gurmeet’s scenes are being given priority. Things reached a boiling point after Leena Jumani, who plays Paridhi, was also allowed to take off to shoot for her upcoming film in Hyderabad.
The development irked Kratika who complained about this to the creatives. The gossip mills were abuzz that an angry Kratika wanted to quit. But producer Sumeet Mittal stated, “It was no big matter for it was resolved at the lower level itself. I did not even need to intervene. She also understood our situation. Gurmeet’s Jhalak period was a bit long. But all is well now.”
When we called up Kratika, she denied any news about her quitting saying, “All these are rumors. We all are working hard and the show is doing well.”
She also claimed to have no problems with Gurmeet doing Jhalak. “He has worked hard and performed very well till now and I wish he wins on Sunday.”

September 28, 14:20the show is not doing well!…dragging!!.. and kratika is right; I don’t get it why producers don’t make the actors agree to finish on project before starting another;quick appearances in other shows while filming one,it’s ok,but not weekly appearances competing in a dance show while filming a soap opera; who do they think they are to disrespect the rest of the team like this? Be considerate of everybody’s time including the public(we don’t need to watch diluted, stretched out to max serial) and NOT concerned only for your pocket and popularity!! And don’t forget, they are a lot more actors, younger and better looking, that can replace you at a drop of a hat! It takes one producer to do that and everybody’s going to change their attitude in a hurry…
