Talk With – Chahatt Khanna

To Ram Kapoor and his family members Priya may be like an angel. However Ram’s wife/ Priya’s sister Ayesha doesn’t remotely consider Priya to be any of it. We speaks with Chahatt Khanna who plays Ayesha in Bade Acche Laggte Hai on Sony TV

Was it fair to Ram that he had to get married to Ayesha?
I have no idea. This was after all a part of the script. So I don’t want to comment on it.

Your comments on Ayesha’s mothering skills…
I doubt if Ayesha has any mothering skills whatsoever. I don’t wish to comment on this either.

Ayesha is turning quite negative…
She is getting quite negative. However she has her own point of view as to why she is behaving like this; judging by which she is not negative. People want to see sati savitris on television.

She is being a selfish sister to Priya…
It is natural for her to feel insecure as Priya has landed up with her child after five years. Anybody would if she was in Ayesha’s place.

Ayesha and Ram could never have consummated their marriage…
Not at all. If they did do so there would have been a rage on TV.

What advice would you give Ayesha?
I would advise her to work on her marriage. It is hardly a marriage anyway.

How do you bond with the little boy who plays your son on the show?
I get along very well with kids. He is a very sweet boy. Amrita Mukherjee who plays Pihu is a great kid too.

Do you still face the casting couch?
No way, nowadays people are a bit too skeptical to ask me.
