Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava 21st September 2012 Written Update

Part I

Raghav has been bound to a chair with ropes. Viraaj, who has filled a basin with water and is shown wearing a bandage on the bridge of his nose, gives Raghav’s death threats again: that he will make him regret the day he was born (the new middle name, btw, is now ‘god’). He blames Raghav for everything that has befallen his family, and Raghav does nothing except give Viraaj a scathing look. Unnerved, Viraaj orders him to stop looking at him with that gaze, but Raghav doesn’t obey. In anger Viraaj hits him on the head with the butt of his gun. He than asks Raghav why he feels the need to stand in between all the time. Raghav replies that whenever Viraaj walks along the path of evil, he will see Raghav blocking his way every time. Offended by Raghav branding him as ‘bad’, he kicks Raghav’s chair so that it falls to the ground and then asks him what wrong he did — because all he did was to beat up Jhanvi. Viraaj then claims that Raghav is the ‘bad one’ here because he broke his promise (gosh, even by his own rules Viraaj is the ‘bad one’ ), he tried to take Jhanvi away from Viraaj so that she would hate him and love Raghav, the ‘bloody mechanic’. Raghav can’t help but grin when he hears this. Viraaj then tells Raghav what he heard on Raghav’s own phone as spoken by Sia. Viraaj loses his temper at the thought that she now loves someone else, and tells Raghav that she can only spend her life with him if he’s left alive. He says that Jhanvi is his, and he has given her permission for only two things: to breathe and to live Viraaj. Viraaj plans to punish Raghav for Sia loving him, and tells him he will suffer even more. By the smile on his face and the flashbacks (hug at park, windowsill scene, goodbye hug), you can tell that Raghav couldn’t give a flying falooda about it for now

Gayathri tells the lady cop to do something now, otherwise she will do something to save Raghav on her own. Lady cop tells Gayathri that she has some strategies set for saving him, and Gayathri tells her that doing so is a waste of time. Lady cop says that there is no point of negotiation here and they need a foolproof plan. On top of this, Raghav has not yet told Sia about the goings-on in the house. Gayathri stands by this decision of his because she recognizes that he is protecting Sia as well here. Sia returning will only put her life in danger, so Gayathri can’t negotiate on this either. Lady cop reassures her. Komal is seen promising to Krish that what happened to them will never happen again. She tells him that she will never let him away from her and hugs her. Tashu comforts her and Gayathri tells Komal that they will always stay together. Gayathri thinks to herself that she can’t stand losing Raghav, as she had already lost Dev.

Raghav is still smiling and tells Viraaj that he’ll never get Sia. Viraaj tells him that some torture tactics are such that he will forget not just Jhanvi but his own identity, and proceeds to rub chili powder on his wounds. Raghav struggles to not let the pain show on his face. When Raghav seems to not react, Viraaj shouts at him to scream. Raghav keeps grinning. Irritated Viraaj rubs more chili on him and asks him why he is laughing. Raghav confidently tells Viraaj that he has lost, and Sia has won. He then tells him that he had never called Sia at all, that she won’t return, his family is safe, and Viraaj has finally lost. He doesn’t particularly care whether he lives or not because Viraaj will be forced to live with his failure for the rest of his life. Viraaj will not let himself die, and he will never be able to live in peace with the fact that he’s lost. Viraaj loses it and threatens to kill him. Raghav, in his thoughts, hopes this will happen.

The taxi returns to the Singh mansion and Sia comes out seeing the Singh women outside the house with the cops. In shock, Gayathri asks an equal confused Komal what Sia is doing here and then asks Sia herself. Sia asks her in return why everyone is outside and why the police are with them. As she asks about their wounds, her eyes widen in realisation of their situation. She tries to get them to tell the truth, but Gayathri lies that everything is fine. Sia isn’t convinced and suddenly it slips out of her that he didn’t even reply when she called him up, upon which she realises that Raghav isn’t even there. She asks Gayathri where she is. Krish then tells Sia that Viraaj has caught him and is inside with him. Sia then picks up her phone to dial a number.

Raghav tells Viraaj that he won’t be able to kill him, and that he is now helpless, and Viraaj tries to shut him up. Suddenly the phone rings and Raghav is worried that it might be Sia. Viraaj goes to the phone to pick the call and hears Sia on the line. She tells him that she has arrived and that he should leave Raghav immediately. Viraaj then pretends to her that he is still affectionate towards her and that she has returned for him. Raghav screams to her not to come up. Viraaj kicks him and then tells her that she should come soon, he’s waiting. Sia only replies by telling him she is coming.

Sia tells the Singh women that she is going to the room, and the lady cop tells her she will accompany her. Viraaj gloats that Sia has revoked her ‘permission’ to love Raghav; now he will revoke the second one by taking her life as she now no more has the right to live. Raghav in despair struggles to free himself but is hit by Viraaj and falls, unconscious. Viraaj tells the comatose man that he will have to make Jhanvi understand that if she doesn’t belong to him she can belong to no-one. He ends his little speech by saying ‘I’m coming, Jaan’.

Gayathri pleads with Sia not to go to the room, and says that if she goes in she’ll make every effort of Raghav’s to protect her a complete failure. Sia tells her she knows this, and maybe that’s why she is here and alive. She says that Raghav always did what he felt was right, and what she will do now will set everything right. Gayathri tells her nothing will be made right by Sia going to Viraaj because he has already made arrangements to kill her. Sia tells Gayathri she doesn’t care, because it would be a life given for the one who gave her this new life. She would happily die if even her death protects Raghav in some way. She wants to do this one thing for herself. Reluctantly Gayathri agrees. Lady cop tells her men to take their positions and shoot on sight. Sia protests but the lady cop tells Sia to let the law do its job.

Part II

Sia and the lady cop enter the house together. She tells Sia to let him put on a few more lights first. Viraaj’s voice (coming from someplace else) coolly tells the lady cop to ‘not even try’. The cops tell her that they can’t see him. He tells them they won’t be able to. Sia angrily asks him where Raghav is and in what state. Viraaj asks her why she is asking about Raghav when she has come for Viraaj. Sia insists on knowing how Raghav is. Viraaj replies that he is alive and to keep him so she will have to come upstairs alone. Sia refuses to come up until Raghav is left alone and alive. Viraaj says everyone cares abt everyone else here but me, and then smugly tells them that he is behind the sofa. They both see that he is heavily injured and unconscious. Suddenly Viraaj closes Sia’s mouth and grabs her from behind, taking her upstairs with him. The lady cop demands that he release her, gun in hand. Viraaj tells him he never will. LC tells him he can’t escape, to which Viraaj replies that they will see. One of the cops tell the lady cop that he can’t shoot him because he’s placed the girl in front (Coward!). LC demands that he be shot, despite the other cop’s misgivings. Viraaj gets shot (but not fatally), tries to shoot LC but fails, and succeeds the second time. Sia tries to reach out to her but Viraaj threatens to shoot her as well. LC tries in vain to tell him to let her go. In terror, the police force and the women realise that she has been shot and that Sia has been taken away. Gayathri asks LC about Raghav and she tells him. The women sit around him, worried.

Sia is in the room, with Viraaj. Viraaj reaches out to kiss her neck but Sia jerks herself out of it and tries to hit him. Viraaj stops her hand and holds it in his grip. Smugly, he lets it go and that he was testing if she was fine. He tells her to sit down, but she doesn’t. He tells her he will be away for a short while, but a forceful Sia tells him not to waste time and finish his business. Viraaj tells her he loves ‘this’ about her, and that he will be back and she shouldn’t move.

Komal, along with another doctor, are trying to check Raghav. The other doctor gives him an injection. Komal insists that he should be sent to hospital but Gayathri is worried about what he will think when he wakes up and realises that Sia has been taken hostage. Komal tells Gayathri that right now they need to think about Raghav first. The other doctor tells Komal not to worry, he will be fine once the bullet is out.
