Ramayan 9th September 2012 Written Update

Part 1
Ram tells Bharat to take care of parents in his absence and Bharat agrees. Ram & Laxman leave Ayodhya with Guru Vishwamitra. Kaikeyi asks Dasharath as to why he agreed to send Ram when he had just come from gurukul. Sumitra says Ram is so young how can he face such big Demon. Kausalya says Vishwamitraji is single how can he understand a mother’s plight. Dasharath says not only Ram’s mothers but his father is also equally sad he himself fell at gurudev’s feet but he was helpless. Kausalya asks why he was helpless. Dasharath says it was the question of our Raghuvamsh’s respect and being a king how can I refuse, its my responsibility to keep my kingdom and its people safe & happy. Kausalya understands and says Ram & Laxman will be safe with Guru Vishwamitra and they will only bring pride to Raghuvamsh.

Ram & Laxman leave in a boat with gurudev. Manthrey brings foods of Bharath’s choice and offers to him but he refuses.She then sees a worried Kaikeyi and questions her whats troubling her. Kaikeyi says Ram has been taken by Vishwamitraji to kill some deadly demons. Manthrey says that’s why she made so many delicacies and advices Kaikeyi that this is the best chance to concentrate on making Bharath king of Ayodhya. Kaikeyi blasts Manthre not to cross her limits and scolds her & leaves while Manthrey is confident that Bharath will become future king of Ayodhya.
Ram, Laxman & Gurudev are crossing the forest when Ram says this forest is very isolated as there are hardly and rishis reciding here. Gurudev says Rakshasi Tharaka has driven away rishis from this village while Ram questions him about the reason for this. Gurudev says long back Tharaka was a beautiful women who was residing in this forest with her husband & begins the story. We are shown few rishis doing a havan when a rakshas comes & disrupts it. Muni agastya seeing this curses the demon that his body will burn out which eventually happens and he burns out. His wife Tharaka comes to save him but he passes away. A furious tharaka challenges the rishis that she will avenge her husband’s death. She then eats up all the rishis who were doing the havan except for guru agastya and vishwamitra. Guru agastya curses her to become a rakshasi from now on and she turns into a rakshasi & starts creating havoc in the forest.
Guru Vishwamitra, Ram & Laxman are travelling when it’s the night time and gurudev says he wants to hear the sound of Ram’s dhanush, Ram stretches his Dhanush and makes a splitting sound and the atmosphere changes. Gurudev alerts them that Tharaka is coming and to be ready. Just then Tharaka who is as big as any mountain comes and stands in front of them. Gurdevi says she is very cunning and talented and should be attacked immediately not giving her any chance.Tharaka starts to attack them when Laxman stands in front of Ram and safeguards him & gurudev with his dhanush. Laxman says he will face her and jumps on her body.

Part 2
Laxman slowly climbs on the demon’s shoulders and reaches her head while Tharaka tries to kill Ram by hurling a rock on them.Ram with his arrow breaks the rock while Laxman who is on her head tries to attack her. Seeing this Tharaka shakes her head and Laxman falls from her body close to Ram. Gurudev tells Ram not to treat her as a women but as a demon & attack her. Ram agrees and aims his arrow at her piercing through her body
Tharaka burns in pain & comes out in her old human form Tharaka asks who is this great person who freed me from the curse. Gurudev says he is sri ram of raghuvamsh. Tharaka says through sri ram she finally attained moksh or she would have remained a demon for many more centuries.Tharaka seeks blessings from Ram and disappears.Kaikeyi has decorated the whole mahal with diyas when manthrey asks if bharath will soon be made the king. Kaikeyi asks her to stop the same rant and says she is celebrating the victory of Ram & Laxman over the demon Tharaka and also she is pleased to see such unity and mutual love among all 4 brothers. Manthrey says of Bharath had gone he too would have killed Tharaka and Ram is just using this chance to become big in everyone’s eyes and says if this continues Bharat will never become the king of ayodhya. Kaikeyi warns manthrey that she will put her behind bars if she continues to say like this and leaves while Manthrey says no one cans top Bharath from becoming king and whoever comes in her way she will eliminate them.

Ram, Laxman & Gurudev take bath in the river and seek blessings from gurudev.Vishwamitra gurudev says he is very happy to see their bravery and he will now bestow them with knowledge on kalchakra, vishnu chakra,indrachakra and all astra shastra knowledge using which they can always be victorious over evil.
Gurudev then takes them to ashram where they seek blessings from other gurudevs. Ram & Laxman keep watch while rishis perform Yagnas.

Back in Ayodhya Dasharath is eagerly waiting for Ram and is unable to sleep and shares with Kaushalya that if he was not a king but an ordinary human then his son would have been with him and spent good time with him. Kaushalya says she too was praying for her kid’s safety as the are fighting with deadly demons.

They both pray to lord Narayan for Ram & laxman’s safety..

Part 3
Ram & Laxman are keeping watch when 2 Rakshas come to disrupt it. They see Ram & Laxman and think how can these 2 boys protect the rishis. The Rakshas create a tornado using their strength by which the trees start shaking. Ram asks Laxman to safeguard the rishis & yagna but Laxman is unable to do it and the rishis go berserk under the heavy wind. Ram spots the Rakshas and aims his arrow at them and kills them much to the delight of the rishis & the yagna is completed.Gurudev thanks Ram & Laxman for ending the evil & adharam.

Ram & Laxman are doing Seva of gurudev when a messenger arrives from Mithila.The messenger says gurudev is invited for Dhanush Yagna & swayamvar of Janak Nandini Sita. Gurudev agrees to come & tells Mithila naresh has Shiv’s dhanush and till now no one has been able to lift it and its a unique dhanush in this world and so is his daughter Sita and tells Ram Laxman to accompany him for this yagna.

In Mithila Sita is shown who resembles goddess Laxmi in grace.

Precap : Ram is in a garden when some of Sita’s friends show her Ram who looks at her & Sita too continues to look at him.
