Pavitra Rishta 6th September 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Ovi telling Manav that she had no other option. She says, you know very well I wasn’t happy with Arjun-Purvi wedding at all and this wedding didn’t stop even after me trying so hard. So that’s why I tried to commit suicide again and at the same time I got Purvi’s call.

Flashback scene starts:
Ovi has a knife in her hand and she is about to cut her hand but she gets a call from Purvi. Ovi asks her why did you call me? What do you need now? Purvi says, I want to meet you right now. Ovi asks why should I meet you? Purvi says, it’s urgent, please try to understand.. if you don’t come today then you will regret your entire life. Ovi agrees.

Ovi comes to a temple and asks Purvi what are you saying? Purvi says, I am telling you the truth.. Arjun is ready to marry you.. right now.. right here. Ovi cannot believe it and asks Purvi if she is doing all this for her. Purvi says, I am doing all this for my mother. And you have to promise me that you will accept Archu from your heart, you will give Archu all happiness she deserves. Ovi says, I promise you.. we will keep your mother.. our mother .. that happy that she can’t imagine. Purvi asks her to stop crying and get ready for wedding.. I have arranged priest and everything. Ovi says, you’re very nice.. thank you so much.

Ovi and Arjun get married in front of Purvi. While their marriage happens, Arjun stares at Purvi and does all the rituals, pheres, mangal sutra, etc.. Priest declare you’re husband and wife now.
Flashback scene ends:

Arjun tells Archu, Purvi forced me to marry. She told me that she is happy in staying away from me. Whatever I did today was for my love… I have paid for my love. Archu cannot believe and loses her balance. Everyone takes her on a side and makes her to sit down. Manav is still in a shock.

Break 1..

Manav calls Teju and tells her to come to wedding hall with everyone. Vinod calls Dk and asks him to come to hall as well.

Arjun asks his dad to understand him. Dk says to him, I cannot believe it. I always stood with you and what I told you? Listen to what your heart says. Arjun says but Purvi. Dk says if she told you anything then you could tell me, I would have talked with her. You didn’t give me chance. Arjun says, she didn’t give me chance to talk about it with anyone.. i didn’t want to do this.. please try to understand. Ovi doesn’t seem happy hearing that. She then takes blessings from Dk who gives her blessings. Arjun also takes blessings from Dk and Dk gives him blessings as well.

Ovi & Arjun then take blessings from everyone else and it seems like everyone forgave them and accepted what happened.

Ovi then goes to Archu and touches her legs for the blessings. Archu is crying and doesn’t say anything.

Purvi is back to her home. She’s putting her clothes and jewelries away. She’s very sad and crying. Archu comes there and is very angry. Sulo asks Purvi why she did all this. Archu tells Purvi, that guy came to live in chawl for you, to prove his love, and as far as I know you love him as well. Then why did you do this? Archu slaps her. Purvi hugs her and says I did all this for your happiness, only for you. You knew very well that your family is hating you because of my and Arjun wedding but you still didn’t tell me anything. I have seen you crying for your family since last 18 years and I couldn’t see it anymore. How could I marry breaking your marriage? your rishta? You loved me like your real daughter then how could I leave you alone like this? You might be strong but I am not strong like you. That’s why I took this decision. Now you see.. everything will be alright. You will get your family back. I haven’t done any mistake.

Archu also hugs her and asks her, what do you think everything will be fine now? I will never get my family back because they don’t want me. Archu says, it’s my mistake. I should have stayed with you all the time. Sulo tells Archu, she is your daughter only.. how can she stay happy seeing you sad? she did all this for you.. try to understand her.

Archu says, I know she did all this for me but I never wanted her to do anything like this for anyone. This was the only fear I had that she doesn’t learn to sacrifice from me. I never wanted her to sacrifice for anyone. Purvi asks anyone? I did all this for you and you’re my own right? They both are still crying and hug each other.

Archu tells her, do you know I am seeing new Purvi today? My daughter has grown up.. I never wanted you to give up your happiness.. your mother is nothing in front of you now.

At Manav’s house. Teju says, I don’t know why she (Ovi) did all this. I mean, Ovi knew very well that Arjun and Purvi love each other. Savita comes there so Teju gets quiet. Savita asks everyone, why are you all so tensed? She tells Manav, you wanted Ovi’s happiness right? Didn’t you see how happy she was? Manav says, yes but what about Purvi? she sacrificed her happiness for Ovi.. we can’t ignore her sacrifice. Savita says, leave all that.. Arjun was Ovi’s since bofore.. they had got engaged as well.

Teju asks Savita how can she still take Ovi’s side after what all this happened. Savita tells her, Arjun and Ovi are married now. It was Purvi who came in between them. Now as time passes.. Arjun will start loving Ovi like before. And we should be happy for this.. we should celebrate it. she leaves from there.

Break 2..

Purvi comes outside her house and it’s raining hard outside. She is thinking about what Archu told her that she will never get her family back because no one wants her there. Purvi then calls Ovi, who doesn’t seem to be affected by this at all. Ovi tells her to get to the point and asks if anything important. Purvi says, I just wanted to remind you your promise. Ovi says, I know you let me marry Arjun on one condition. Arjun comes to the room and listens all this.

Purvi says, I did all this for my mother and you told me if I give Arjun to you then you will give her family, happiness, all rights back to her. (By the way phone is on speaker so Arjun can hear what Purvi is saying as well). Purvi continues, you told me that you will make Archu part of your family.. you remember all this right? You will talk with Archu right? Ovi says, you fulfilled your promise.. now I will fulfill my promise as well. Purvi thanks her and says I was just little worried because Archu told me that you all … Ovi now picks up her phone and it’s not speaker anymore.

Ovi gets little mad and says why are you taking so much tension? I told you I will convince my family to accept your mother. Purvi says, not yours, our mother. Ovi changes her tone and says, that’s what I meant.. our mother. Ovi tells Purvi that she will talk some other time now and she hangs up.

Arjun asks Ovi, what did you get by doing all this? Ovi gets shocked seeing him. She asks him what are you talking about? Arjun says, I am talking about what you were just talking with Purvi. Ovi is crying and says, I did all this for you, to be with you. Arjun gets mad and says, stop it. You did all this for youself. I didn’t know you could fall down this much. All this marriage is deal for you right? I love Purvi.. she is my life and despite knowing all that.. you still did this?

What did you get by doing all this? You got me? Happy now? But remember, you will never win my heart because I love Purvi and I will always love her. Arjun leaves from there.

Arjun now calls Purvi but she doesn’t pick up. Arjun throws away his phone in anger.

On the other side, Ovi says I know you are not happy with marriage, but I will make our marriage successful, I won’t give up.

A sad song plays in background… all 3.. Ovi, Arjun, & Purvi are crying.

Seeing rain Purvi remembers how Arjun used to say, it always rains when something good is going to happen with them. And she runs inside her home.

Episode ends with all three’s crying faces.
